Our client is looking for a highly organized and experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to optimize logistics and warehousing operations in Jacksonville, Florida, US . This critical role will oversee the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. You will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory control, transportation, and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of logistics principles, advanced analytical skills, and a proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices, and leverage technology to enhance operational performance. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to achieving excellence in supply chain management. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and reduce carrying costs.
- Manage transportation logistics, including carrier selection, route optimization, and freight cost control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates and logistics staff.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics and warehousing operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other supply chain software.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, transportation management, and distribution processes.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive performance improvements.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
