**Job Description**
As an Inventory Specialist, you will manage both inbound and outbound inventory processes. This includes placing finished goods and components into inventory and removing them as needed. You will also be responsible for operate a metal cutting band saw to cut material to length. You will be responsible for shipping finished goods to customers, vendors, and subcontractors using shop control and shipping software. Additionally, you will receive purchased supplies, raw materials, and devices from vendors and subcontractors, inspect receivables, and ensure all products conform to purchase orders and specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Utilize metal saw for cutting material to length
+ Manage inbound and outbound inventory processes.
+ Place and remove finished goods and components from inventory.
+ Ship finished goods to customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
+ Receive and inspect purchased supplies, raw materials, and devices.
+ Operate a metal cutting saw when necessary.
+ Clean and passivate parts according to customer specifications.
+ Ensure products conform to purchase orders and specifications.
+ Follow ISO quality management system procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in inventory, shipping, and receiving.
+ Material handling and cycle counting experience.
+ Ability to operate saws and manage inventory control systems.
+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
+ Experience in supply chain management and data entry.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with BOL and SAP systems.
+ Ability to use standard measuring and testing devices such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, radius gauges, optical comparators, and depth micrometers.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, and Allen wrenches.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a climate-controlled medical device shop that follows strict FDA protocols. The facility is exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-organized, ensuring that employees are not working directly next to each other in most areas. This position is based at a location in Memphis, TN.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organization's inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.
**_Job Role /Responsibilities:_**
+ Maintains consistent stock of inventory.
+ Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
+ Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
+ Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.
+ Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
+ Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
+ Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
+ Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
+ Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
+ Operates forklift truck when necessary.
+ Print Count Sheets in location sequence. Conduct physical inventory count and enter quantity onto Count Sheet. Record and enter count results into system.
+ Research inventory discrepancies by cycle counting discrepant items. Run transaction history to identify root cause and resolution.
+ Conduct search of "Staging" areas. Perform "Empty" location audits. Record and report the results of the count and audits. Report findings to department supervisor or designated representative.
+ Compiles, verifies, and reports daily and/or periodic statistical information aimed at detecting trends to improve and maintain the overall health of inventory.
+ Assist in moving product in facility to improve efficiencies and optimization of storage.
+ Assist in other areas such as operations, shipping and receiving as needed.
+ Performs other related duties as requested.
**_Qualifications:_**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
+ Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
+ Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
+ Ability to perform basic math calculations.
+ Forklift Certification preferred

+ Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Position Overview
Were looking for a driven Planner to lead our demand and supply forecasting efforts. This role owns the development and management of forecast models across products and customers, drives our Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, and serves as the go-to for all things related to customer demand planning, product forecasting, and purchasing.
Youll work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Financekeeping everyone aligned, informed, and ready to execute.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecast Management
- Own and maintain accurate 12-month rolling forecasts across the full finished goods catalog
- Build models at varying levels of granularity across different time horizons (1224 months)
- Analyze historical sales trends, identify demand drivers, and apply statistical models to improve forecast accuracy
- Lead and facilitate weekly SIOP meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
- Align sales, marketing, and operational plans to reconcile demand and supply gaps
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to understand forecast inputs and market dynamics
- Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply and purchasing strategies
- Process Optimization
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy and visibility
- Strengthen collaboration across internal and external partners to ensure a seamless planning cycle
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and forecasting
- Strong understanding of demand planning, SIOP, and supply chain fundamentals
- Experience with Oracle or NetSuite ERP systems preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required; familiarity with SQL and Power BI is a plus
- IBF or APICS certification is a bonus

This position is responsible for inspection of returned goods for disposition per requirements, investigation of service level complaints, management of quality related holds, housekeeping audits, process audits and other quality and process improvement initiatives as prescribed

3. Perform root cause analysis and investigation for service level complaints and log in database for trending and analysis
4. Perform audits (process, housekeeping, 5S, etc.) in support of distribution center of excellence maintenance
5. Identification and isolation of non-conforming product as required
6. Provide support to quality/regulatory activities (recalls, inspections, etc.) as required
7. Providing distribution operations with assistance when needed.
