**Compensation:** Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay is $16.49 plus tips
**Work Schedule:** The work schedule for this position is Full Time night shift M-F 12:30p to 9pm and T-S 12:30pm 9pm but sat, 9:30am to 6pm

Job Description
Responsible for filling prescriptions under the supervision of Pharmacist in the Hospital Pharmacy. Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to hospital patients, computes charges, and enters data in the system. Implements inventory control processes and systems and orders stock and merchandise within regulatory guidelines.
Principal Accountabilities:

Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types out labels for bottles.

Receives and stores incoming supplies, counts stock, and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.

Prepares intravenous (IV) packs using sterile technique under the supervision of the hospital pharmacist.
-
Cleans equipment and sterilizes glassware according to prescribed methods.
-
Types and files reports and completes forms as directed.
-
Fills routine prescriptions with prepackaged pharmaceuticals and resolves queries related to prescriptions.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Hospital Pharmacy experienced preferred

PTCB or NHA certification active or acquire within 6 months of hire

Current active registration with the State of NJ Board of Pharmacy required
