- We're a newly opened facility in Wayne, PA, in a state-of-the-art 6,000-square-foot space , conveniently located near major highways (Rt. 476, Rt. 76, Rt. 30, and the PA Turnpike).
- As part of the MVA network, we uphold the highest standards of patient care, client service, and teamwork , focusing on urgent care needs.

What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant at MVUCS, you will be a vital part of our care team, ensuring pets receive prompt and excellent treatment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with triage, anesthesia, surgery, and discharge preparation .
- Providing hands-on support during emergency procedures, including patient restraint and basic treatments.
- Preparing and restocking treatment areas with necessary supplies and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Communicating compassionately with pet owners , answering their questions, guiding them to the right team member, and offering comfort during stressful situations.
- Performing basic laboratory tasks under the guidance of a technician or veterinarian, such as setting up samples for testing and gathering vital patient data.
- Collaborating effectively with emergency technicians and doctors , sharing updates and contributing to a team-oriented work environment.

Anticipated Schedule
This is a full-time role with the following available shifts:
- Thursday - Saturday 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM.

Compensation
- Starting at $17.50/hour + 15% Shift Differential .
