The Director, Patient Experience, Neuroscience is responsible for shaping fulfillment, onboarding, and adherence strategy in support of the end-to-end patient experience for patients starting Neuroscience therapies. You will be a member of the Neuroscience Px team, working closely with the patient solutions teams including field-based access and affordability solutions, patient access and affordability solutions, pharmacy solutions, patient and caregiver solutions, and supplier management and operational excellence to deliver, measure and optimize the patient journey, ensuring that more patients can start and stay on therapy. You will work across the brand marketing, access, and field teams to deliver a patient experience that delights the patient and supports business strategy and objectives.

The Director, Patient Experience, Neuroscience works in service to our patients, as an advocate for their needs. Their day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • People Development: Coach, develop and motivate direct report(s)
  • Px Strategy: Develop an end-to-end patient engagement strategy that supports patients in starting and staying on prescribed treatments by utilizing research, data, market dynamics, and competitive assessments to inform strategic choices
  • Advancing Equity in Healthcare: Advance health equity by uncovering disparities and developing strategies to support better treatment outcomes for underserved populations
  • Customer-Centric Design Process: Engage patients, caregivers, and providers in co-creating and continuously optimizing solutions
  • Goal Setting: Define KPIs and establish metrics and goals for Px fulfillment, onboarding, and adherence strategy and solutions
  • Program Design: Inform and approve requirements for Px solutions, with a focus on seamless and coordinated support across solution types
  • Communications Planning: Lead communications planning and development (targeting, messaging, creative, channels) and training in support of Px programs including influence through brand patient and professional marketing teams
  • Measurement & Reporting: Report on and be accountable for Px performance through the build and utilization of dashboards, research, and analytics
  • Business Planning: Support Px business planning efforts for Neuroscience ensuring an integrated strategic plan with aligned objectives, execution, and resourcing; own strategic recommendation and budget for fulfillment, onboarding, and adherence solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of healthcare business experience (EX: sales, marketing, payer/access experience, operations, supply chain, analytics) is required, of which 5 years demonstrated marketing and/or customer service experience.
  • 2 years of proven performance in leading a team of direct reports preferred
  • Experience in more than one of the areas below is required (a mix of experiences across several of these domains is preferred):

The base pay range for this position is $146,000-$255,000. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. Key responsibilities of the Director, Business Development, Acquisitions & Strategic Assessments will include:

  • Leverage consulting, technical, analytical, and management skills in order to systematically deliver robust, comprehensive landscape analysis of late stage and in-market acquisition opportunities, based on critical growth objectives and therapeutic areas of strategic interest
  • Conduct regular competitive analyses to evaluate, filter, and prioritize opportunities, leveraging a variety of internal and external tools to identify M&A targets.
  • Track key internal and external M&A benchmarks related to deal activity, external deal environment, and macroeconomic trends
  • Partner with internal cross functional and external business partners, including developing a range of relationships with external environment (i.e. key investment banking contacts)
  • Partner closely with the Innovative Medicine Acquisitions & Divestitures team to assess landscape of opportunities, translating insights into opportunities pursued in close collaboration with M&A transactions colleagues
  • Function as a key resource to BD team, reviewing, analyzing and synthesizing complex information from multiple sources (i.e. Factset, Evaluate Pharma, etc) and provide support for wide variety of business development initiatives
  • In collaboration with BD colleagues, contribute to the development and enhancement of processes, templates, and data capture systems to be utilized by the business development group
  • Develop robust and compelling presentation materials for senior leadership, turning detailed analyses into thorough, comprehensive M&A target recommendations; both technical / systems skills as well as strong communication skills will be critical to success in this capacity
  • Present internally championed acquisition assessments to senior leadership
  • Potential to lead M&A corporate diligence, or broader M&A processes, in support of broader M&A / BD team, on an as needed basis

 

Qualifications
 

  • BA/BS minimum requirement, MBA and/or advanced scientific degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of relevant business experience required
  • Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is required
  • Experience in M&A preferred
  • Experience with business analytics, finance, and/or strategy consulting preferred
  • Strong technical / system skills, with ability to quickly become expert across range of internal and external IT tools
  • Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills are required

The Account Executive- Advanced Hemostasis and Healing will: 

  • Own the full bag of Ethicon offerings of comprehensive surgical devices and solutions including the hemostasis, energy sealing and dissection, surgical stapling and wound closure platforms.  The Account Executive – AHH will have a focus on growing our hemostasis and wound closure platforms 

  • With a platform focus, Account Executives will sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers, primarily in an operating room setting.

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in conjunction with Rutgers Health, invited application for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Hamilton. The Department is responsible for the oversight and management of all anatomic and clinical laboratory services at RWJUH-Hamilton, a 287-bed facility located in Hamilton, New Jersey.

The successful candidate will be the leader of the pathology laboratory at RWJUH-Hamilton, responsible for oversight of all aspects of the laboratory operation. This individual will provide leadership for staff, will plan, organize and direct the activities of the Laboratory with the assistance of an administrative director, managers, supervisors and senior technologists and will serve as a subject matter expert and consultant, closely collaborating with physicians and other health care providers.

The Director will have responsibility for providing clinical direction to the Hamilton laboratory, including laboratory oversight, test validation and maintenance of College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation of the laboratory; experience in a CAP accredited laboratory is desirable. As a member of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology team, consulting with clinical staff and participating in tumor boards is expected. This is a general pathology service within a community hospital, although expertise in a relevant subspecialty and management exposure is desirable.

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Director, Research Development and Training for the Office of Academic Affairs with the School of Public Health, located in Piscataway, NJ. The Program Director, Research Development and Training provides strategic leadership to enhance the School of Public Health's research capacity through targeted development initiatives, faculty training, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Supporting both the Assistant Dean for Research and the Vice-Dean, this role works closely with school and university leadership to identify research priorities, support faculty and trainee success, and strengthen the infrastructure needed to secure and manage extramural funding and will advance initiatives that promote excellence, equity, and impact in public health research.

Duties include:
  • Partner strategically with Assistant Dean for Research and Vice-Dean to define and execute institutional researchpriorities and implement research strategies aligned to the school's strategic plan.
  • Support Vice-Dean's research grant development.
  • Assist the Vice-Dean, as Training Director of the Rutgers Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health (RU-SGM) with the development of training grants for pre- and post-doctoral efforts.
  • Supervise, manage and direct staff.

Our team in Rahway, New Jersey, is seeking an exceptional leader who is passionate about leading a team of Scientists to deliver analytical solutions that enable and accelerate process and product development and manufacturing and ensure safety and quality of our products. The successful candidate will be accountable for proactive resourcing planning, risk assessment strategies and will focus on talent development and partnering to build an integrated culture of innovation across modalities and will partner with cross-functional development teams to enable pipeline decisions.
The Executive Director, Biologics Analytical Research and Development (B-AR&D) is responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership for analytical development of candidates from the discovery interface, through first product registration. They will be responsible for a portfolio of Biologics programs (approximately 10-15 programs), and leading multiple Director lead Development teams, overall approximately 40-50 scientists. Strategic partnering with Biologics Analytical Research and Development method development GMP laboratories, complementary areas of Analytical Research and Development, Biologics Process Research and Development, CMC and Regulatory in aspects of control strategy and filings, Quality and our partners in the commercialization and manufacturing is essential.
The successful candidate must function well and be able to collaborate in a fast-paced, integrated, multidisciplinary team environment. Research and industry experience should demonstrate successful application and management of state-of-the-art analytical techniques to solve problems, including strong background and experience in separations science, extensive experience with UPLC/HPLC analysis of biologics (e.g. SEC, RP, IEX), experience in microbiological techniques, ELISA, PCR, cell based analytics, background in analytical methodologies and sound scientific understanding of Critical Quality Attributes/QbD/DOE principles as well as data analysis and statistics for setting specifications. The incumbent will be responsible for the recruiting, appraisal and development of personnel under their supervision.
The Executive Director selects, trains, and effectively works with colleagues to action development plans of personnel under their direction within the framework of Company policy. The Executive Director will be a manager of managers, with keen focus on coaching and mentoring organizational leaders in talent Development. The role will also be responsible for proactive resourcing planning, risk assessment strategies and budget management as necessary (including merit and promotion planning). Maintaining a strong network internally and across the external academic and regulatory community is expected, as well as advancing a culture of scientific excellence, compliance mindset and collaboration with various partners and stakeholders in development.
**Education:**
+ BS Degree with 17+ years of relevant experience or MS with 10+ years of relevant experience or Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry

Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Director, Research Development and Training for the Office of Academic Affairs with the School of Public Health, located in Piscataway, NJ. The Program Director, Research Development and Training provides strategic leadership to enhance the School of Public Health’s research capacity through targeted development initiatives, faculty training, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Supporting both the Assistant Dean for Research and the Vice-Dean, this role works closely with school and university leadership to identify research priorities, support faculty and trainee success, and strengthen the infrastructure needed to secure and manage extramural funding and will advance initiatives that promote excellence, equity, and impact in public health research.

Duties include:

  • Partner strategically with Assistant Dean for Research and Vice-Dean to define and execute institutional researchpriorities and implement research strategies aligned to the school’s strategic plan.
  • Support Vice-Dean’s research grant development.
  • Assist the Vice-Dean, as Training Director of the Rutgers Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health (RU- SGM ) with the development of training grants for pre- and post-doctoral efforts.
  • Supervise, manage and direct staff.

Job Description

The R& D Specialist Quality & Compliance (R&D Q&C) is responsible for the administration of integrated and comprehensive quality systems and controls that are appropriate, effective, efficient and continuously improving in order to ensure that R&D functions are operating in full compliance with sound scientific practice, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP), and within Company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.

The Specialist is responsible for participating on documentation quality review/approval of R&D Sales Samples and R&D Product Quality Complaints (PQCs). In addition to these tasks, supporting documentation maintenance and archival, quality inspections of R&D products, and in internal assessments on R&D processes specific to GxP. The Specialist must be knowledgeable to provide guidance on applicable Regulations (FDA, ICH, EU, and others) pertaining to business partners.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Participate in GMP documentation review and approval of sales samples including identifying opportunities to optimize release processes for agility and speed to customer sales teams.
  • Participate in working with various functional groups, as needed, to conduct problem identification and resolution along with assisting in compiling documentation to review and approve assessments and/or investigations for R&D Product Quality Complaints (PQC).
  • Support in the development and implementation of GMP and Quality & Compliance processes and procedures including supporting GMP documentation review and approval.
  • Support on internal assessments of R&D GMP processes and areas and identify opportunities to streamline.
  • Support in inspection readiness activities.
  • Support quality inspection of supplies for R&D studies.
