Job Description

Company description

Hi there! We're Razorfish. We've been leading the marketing industry with our digital expertise since the start of the internet. But in 2020, we did a full reboot. What's different? It all starts with people. Weird, wonderful, complex people - with diverse backgrounds in strategy, creative and technology. But no matter how different we are, we all have one thing in common. We believe our differences are our strength. So we push for inclusion, challenge convention and bring in new perspectives, to inspire new ideas. Because when we connect by understanding what makes people different, we can create unforgettable experiences that enrich lives. Join us at razorfish.com.

Overview

We're looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join our 80+ person Social Strategy discipline within our fast-growing Consumer & Content Experience practice.

This role is for someone who gets fashion and beauty. You have a pulse on what's trending and you know how to translate that cultural momentum into content that's bold, relevant, and brand-right. Whether it's quiet luxury, cottagecore, or a "how to style your look under $100," you don't just spot trends, you shape them.

You'll collaborate with the teams to concept and create social-first content for a major retail brand, helping them show up with style, voice, and credibility across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Trend Spotting & Ideation: Stay ahead of fashion, beauty, and cultural trends. Monitor creator content, hashtags, and seasonal shifts to spark ideas that resonate with the retail brand's audience.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative, social, and marketing teams to produce thumb-stopping high-fidelity content, prioritizing short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Stories.
  • Social Strategy: Develop organic and paid social strategies, and lead content planning across social channels. This includes the developing monthly, tentpole and ad-hoc content briefs.
  • Video Creation & Editing: Capture, edit, and produce original video content. Contribute to all phases of production, including filming, editing, color correction, and sound design.
  • Creative Execution: Define and develop branded style templates for social media assets, ensuring a cohesive look across all platforms.
  • On-Camera Hosting: Be comfortable stepping in front of the camera as a brand personality. You'll be the face of certain videos, delivering trend-based or style-led content with confidence and charm.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers across platforms, replying to comments, amplifying creator content, and building meaningful relationships that reflect the brand's personality and values.
  • Innovative Thinking: You speak the language of the internet. You know how to remix a trend in a way that's authentic to the brand, and can bring fresh ideas that stand out in a crowded feed.
Qualifications
  • Content Expertise: A strong aesthetic sense. You know what looks good in-feed, on Reels, and across Stories-and how to tailor it for each platform.
  • Platform Savvy: In-depth knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube content strategies and styles, with a focus on short-form video. You are someone who lives on the For You Page and loves creating content that engages, entertains, and inspires.
  • Creative Tools Mastery: Expertise in editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut) and familiarity with production equipment (e.g., ring lights, tripods, backdrops).
  • Audience-First Mindset: You see comments as content opportunities. Whether it's answering a question, reacting with a wink, or turning fan love into a post, you know how to foster authentic dialogue that deepens brand connection.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate creative direction and workflows.
  • Retail & Style Knowledge: Whether you're styling a flat lay, covering a store opening, or testing a new product, you understand how to connect fashion and beauty to real people's lives.
  • Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements :
  • 3-5+ years in a creator, influencer, or brand content role (in-house or agency)
  • A portfolio or active feed showcasing short-form, trend-driven video work (especially in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle)
  • Expert understanding of all major social platforms, their formats and their features - especially TikTok and Instagram
  • Experience publishing content flawlessly and managing complex content calendars
  • Ability to use insights and data to inform content planning, content mix and post timing
Strong video editing and graphic design skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator)
