The job of the Wine Steward is to manage the extensive wine program for the Restaurant. They will lead the wine education program and ensure standards are met daily regarding wine service. The Wine Steward is to act as a leader, wine educator, and role model for staff. The Wine Steward will build and maintain a wine list fitting the establishment for: right price, products, presentations, easy to use.
Specific Responsibilities
- Development of the wine list including: researching wines, tastings within company parameters, providing recommendations to leadership, ensuring a balancing list is maintained.
- Communicates daily with the Restaurant Manager and/or Dining Supervisor to review reservations taken and learn of any upcoming reservation regarding wine.
- Works the Restaurant floor, providing professional wine sales assistance, along with providing professional wine service including re-pours, ensuring proper glassware is used and providing labels upon request. During idle times, will be required to assist the staff in one or all the following duties: back waiter, hosting, reservationist, bus, bar service, polishing etc.
- Designs and develops extensive wine program, keeping the Restaurant on top of the standards.
- Attends and occasionally holds daily briefings with the Restaurant FOH staff before start of operation.
- Develops and teaches Wine Academy for all Food & Beverage staff on a regular basis to ensure high quality service including basic knowledge, techniques on corking and servicing will be demonstrated.

Skills/Requirements
- The ideal candidate for this position has a degree in restaurant/hotel management and/or has worked in a food and beverage position in an upscale Hotel/Restaurant for a minimum of 2 years.
- Minimum 2 years' experience selling fine wine.

- Adequate level of skill with use of common computer systems including all Office products.

**Location:** Kohler, WI
**Opportunity**
The Equipment Technician is expected to assist with and perform inspection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance on a variety of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment to the highest degree of dependability and performance, with the emphasis on precise quality of cut.
Specific Responsibilities
+ Inspects, diagnoses, repairs and maintains all pieces of motorized golf course and landscape equipment to the highest degree of dependability and performance (including tractors, trucks, sweepers, rollers, mowers, golf carts, and beverage carts, among others).
+ Repair transmissions, differentials, carburetors, steering systems, hydraulic/hydrostatic pumps and valves.
+ Assists with the appropriate scheduling of preventative maintenance, prioritized repairs, help with golf course maintenance and snow removal when needed.
+ Troubleshoots all equipment.
+ Assists with the tear down of engines and performance of general overhauls.
+ Maintain and perform preventative maintenance according to program on all equipment.
+ Perform daily adjustments and sharpening of mowing equipment.
+ Able to perform intermediate welding, fabricating and spray painting of equipment. Submit requests for purchase of repair parts and replacement supplies.
+ Maintains necessary inventory records.
+ Maintains a clean, well-organized shop with safety the highest of priorities. Follow a clean-as-you go policy; ensure that work sites are broom clean at the end of each job and at the end of the day.
+ Maintain daily records relating to tasks performed.
+ Perform data entry as directed into software for labor tracking and inventory control.
+ Operate equipment in the field to check performance.
+ Complies with all resort's policies, procedures and safety regulations.
+ Maintains a strong knowledge of emergency procedures.
+ Learns to operate all pieces of equipment.
+ Assists with golf course special projects.
+ Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments when necessary.
Typical hours are 5am-3pm. Weekends are required.
**Skills/Requirements**
+ 2+ years of experience in a similar position required.
+ Previous training in welding and fabrication.
+ Minimum of a High School Diploma
+ Must have good mechanical ability.
+ Possess a full set of mechanical repair tools for daily use on the job.
+ Possess strong interpersonal skills to be part of an engaged team.
+ Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbal and written.
+ Must have a valid driver's license and meet company driving standards.
+ Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
