Description

The Construction laborer ensures the efficiency of a project through planned, thoughtful movement of materials and debris.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Material staging and placement
• Material delivery and logistical planning
• Tools inventory
• Tools and gang box staging
• Debris removal
• Tools repair and maintenance
• Attend weekly meetings as needed
• Communicate with lead man or foreman

Accountable to Lead Man or Foreman of project.Laborers must be able to lift and carry debris safely up to 100 lbs. Mixing materials and staging materials will also be a requirement. Must be willing to be trained to operate various power tools. Also, laborer will need to have a basic understanding of productivity and production goals. They will be expected to set goals on a daily or even hourly basis related to the requirements of the estimate and project.

Description

A Carpenter constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, metal, wallboard, etc., using carpenter's hand tools and power tools, and conforming to local building codes. While maintaining the necessary production and quality required to complete a project and exceeding the customers' expectations.

A Carpenter studies blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as metal studs or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated. Selects specified type of materials. Prepares layout, using tape, framing square, etc. Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials, using pencil, chalk, and marking gage. Shapes materials to prescribed measurements, using power and hand tools. Assembles, cuts and shapes materials and fastens them together with applicable fasteners. Verifies trueness of structures constructed prior to completion. Applies shock-absorbing, sound-deadening, and decorative paneling to ceilings and walls. Fits and installs prefabricated window frames, doors, doorframes, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware, such as locks, letter drops, and kick plates.

Carpenters are typically responsible for the production and quality of the products they install. A carpenter will usually report to a foreman or lead man, and will be assigned a range of tasks to be completed. Timely production and quality are the main responsibilities of a carpenter. In addition, carpenters are responsible for working safely and maintaining a safe work environment.

Carpenters must work within precise limits and standards of accuracy. For example: carpenters must apply shop mathematics to solve problems; plan work and select proper tools; compare and see differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects; picture solid objects from drawings or diagrams; perform a variety of duties which may change often; and rate information using standards that can be measured or checked.

The Therapist assesses and facilitates the care for assigned patients and participates in the treatment and continuing care planning. Is responsible for case management for all assigned patients. Conducts individual, family, specialized, and group psychotherapy and shares clinical information gained with the treatment team and with other involved entities as appropriate.   • Meet with assigned patients to introduce self, orient the patient to the therapist role and explain treatment goals and/or expectations. Initiate contact with relevant family members and outpatient providers, after signed release has been obtained, to develop and implement care plan and coordinate discharge planning.
  • Document all activities related to assessment, treatment and discharge planning
• Individual and Family Therapy Services
  • If required or as assigned: Provide individual, group and family psychotherapy for assigned patients per program schedule.
  • Document therapy sessions in the medical record per program requirements.
  • Seek clinical supervision and support when complications arise in therapeutic setting or therapy sessions.
  • Facilitate specialized interventions when needed.
• Specialized Therapy Services
  • If required or as assigned: Provide specialized therapy services to assigned patients including but not limited to, Family, Equine, Art, EMDR, and SE.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field
• State licensed. If individual has a doctorate in Psychology they may function as a Therapist but must apply for a license as a Psychologist upon hire, keeping HR informed of progress.
• CPR & First Aid Certified.
• CPI Certified.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Driver Safety Training
• Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health field preferred.
• Prefer experience working with specialty services (Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders) within a managed care environment.
• Prefer two years experience providing Family Therapy, EMDR, sex addiction or other trauma specialist if assigned to conduct specialized therapy.
