The Quality Team at Project Kuiper is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team and help perform critical inspection duties within our Manufacturing Quality organization.
Key job responsibilities
The Quality Inspector will operate advanced metrology equipment to ensure product conformance for highly-complex aerospace grade hardware.
- Perform Receiving Inspection activity using sampling plans and metrology equipment, such as CMMs, Romer Arms, micrometers, calipers, height gages, calipers, micrometers, gages, etc.
- Report nonconformances when defective material is found.
- Develop and lead 5S activities around the Quality area(s) to ensure efficient working areas.
- Read Inspection Plans and Work Instructions to perform quality inspections
- Interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to the ASME Y14.5 standard to GD&T
