The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager who utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shift. The ANM is responsible for supporting the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit and providing managerial presence for all shifts. The ANM is responsible for managing clinical and non-clinical caregivers and providing input to the director/manager for evaluation purposes related to performance. This is a part time (24 hours/week) position supporting the Everett PACE site.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, provides social work services to participants in a manner which is consistent with the mission and core values of Providence Health System. Spends a majority of time in direct service activities within the Center, including one-on-one and group counseling, interaction with other team members, and ongoing assistance to participants to address social issues. Based on comprehensive assessments, provides perspective on the social, emotional, cognitive and ethnic factors that impact the creation of an individualized integrated plan of care. Accesses community and financial resources for participants and ensures continuity of care across the continuum. Conducts social work assessment and intervention in other care settings, including the participant's home, as needed.

  • Phlebotomy: Performs venipuncture and capillary procedures on pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatients based on orders in the laboratory information system (LIS) or outpatient requisitions. Including legal collections.
  • Data Entry: Orders testing in LIS based on physician orders. Cancels and redraws orders per policy. Documents communication with care team in LIS as required by policy.
