About the Role
The Contract Associate will manage contracts for the Retail Payments and Activation team, consolidating business requirements to draft and close business deals. This collaborative role requires exceptional communication, organisational, and time management skills, while being comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple priorities. You will partner across cultural, country, and time-zone boundaries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on business opportunities and structure findings into presentations.
- Manage project lifecycle from contract drafting to execution and filing, including negotiation and closure.
- Develop and execute detailed project work plans to deliver business goals.
- Facilitate meetings with internal and external teams, driving agendas and action items.
- Partner with regional teams, managing stakeholders with strong communication skills.
- Review contract provisions, ensuring compliance with Google policies and procedures.
- Maintain the contract database and intranet site.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Assist on business development projects, compliance research, and preparation of recommendations.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in project and partner management.
- 3+ years managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite; strong presentation and business plan development skills.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across global teams and time zones.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a results-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with contract negotiation and working with legal teams.
- Business analytics and quantitative modelling skills.
- Knowledge of gift card and/or payments industry.
