The Solution Architect leads one or more workstreams in sophisticated enterprise customer engagements, partnering with key collaborators to drive and achieve the vision while completing key deliverables. They serve as hands-on advisors, using strong communication skills, solution and/or technical knowledge, Salesforce product knowledge, industry experience, consulting experience, and knowledge of their clients business to deliver customer return on investment.

Solution Architects are strong presenters and facilitators that are able to co-create the vision and own the execution with the customer as well as acquire customer acceptance of the delivered solution. They are capable of driving difficult conversations and removing roadblocks to implement the business strategies. They are proficient at analyzing issues and obstacles to resolve root cause, and can identify appropriate corrective action. They connect with technical and business customers from all levels through C-suite. On a day to day basis, they interact with customer product owner, business process owner and technical resources to understand requirements, analyze information, and craft comprehensive solutions. They also show a strong understanding of typical business challenges or common objectives faced by customers within the industry.

Solution Architects are stewards of the Professional Services Methodology and use their networks to ensure that standard processes are followed. They engage with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure the solutions are driving the most effective achievement of the value objectives. Solution Architects supply to thought leadership and standard methodologies by engaging with the cloud-specific practices teams. They will chip in both internally in their Community and externally in the marketplace.

YOUR IMPACT: Responsibilities
Salesforce Professional Services is looking for a Solution Architect. As a Solution Architect, you will be serving as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform authority to the companys largest, most sophisticated enterprise customers. Here are some salient responsibilities the role entails:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the client
  • Identify and lead internal critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice; serve as an active contributor to the communitys overall knowledge base and expertise
  • Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying new technologies that drive increased business value
  • Work collaboratively and having very strong communications skills, especially in instructing sophisticated concepts, and creative, prescriptive thinking across various levels of a client organization
  • Identify and proactively lead risk areas and commit to seeing an issue through to complete resolution
  • Handle customer expectations; negotiate solutions to sophisticated problems with both the customer and third-party partners
  • Review and correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward
  • Drive a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies to enable technologies including the Salesforce platform


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of shown experience in enterprise-level projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and known work
  • Extensive experience with configuration and customization on the Salesforce platform
  • Authority level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
  • Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories and providing detailed system and functional designs
  • Experience in detailing business processes and wire-framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs
  • Extensive experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and Flow Builder
  • Strong presentation skills; able to optimally present a point of view and clearly articulate the rationale to a variety of customers
  • Meticulous individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience
  • Must be a standout colleague as demonstrated through a customer qualification of a large scale/enterprise implementation with multiple work streams
  • A great listener with the ability to connect with people in diverse roles
  • Resourceful and entrepreneurial thinker who can work through and solve problems
  • Possible travel of about 25%, but exact travel requirements will vary based on customer.
  • Ability to acquire Public Trust Security Clearance (or higher)
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • Sole U.S. citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized; no dual citizenship) required. Agree to complete a Minimum Background
    Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position with the U.S. federal government


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Delivering high-value business outcomes applying an agile approach
  • Confirmed results leading customer and/or partner success stories
  • Experience working with clients within the Public Sector industry is preferred
  • Experience working with Salesforce GovCloud or GovCloud Plus is desired
  • Any type of previous or current successful adjudications on HSPD-12 or other types of federal security clearances is a plus
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience are strongly recommended

Job Overview & Responsibilities The Oracle HCM Presales Architect for the SaaS Solutions team is an expert-level SaaS technologist responsible for developing technical RFP responses for Oracle HCM opportunities. As an Oracle HCM SaaS SME, you will focus on supporting multiple, simultaneous technical efforts ranging from 1-12 months in length and dealing with Oracle HCM SaaS Applications. This position generates the technical proposals that demonstrate Mythics' expertise, value add, and differentiators for implementing Oracle HCM SaaS in the Public Sector market. This role responds to questions around SaaS implementation, training, change management, project management, implementation methodology and overall technical approach. As a key member of our Saas Solutions team, the Oracle HCM SaaS Presales Solutions Architect is responsible for producing high-quality, customized proposals that effectively communicate our capabilities, solutions, and value proposition to government agencies and public sector organizations. This role operates independently, providing the most complex technical solutions for customers as a recognized authority in this discipline. Responsibilities and Essential Duties
    Provide functional and technical expertise in Oracle HCM SaaS implementation and translate into clear proposal documents. Create materials conveying technical requirements and develop effective win themes for Oracle Cloud HCM solutions. Develop specifications, reports, graphics, flowcharts, and other customer deliverables while ensuring documentation meets customer standards. Coordinate with PMO and Technical Teams to gather requirements and support solution development through all phases. Perform quality assurance activities including test case definition, scenarios, and scripts. Provide pre-sales support and maintain a repository of reusable content, templates, and best practices. Create HCM SaaS-related technical documentation, including security policies and procedures. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive intelligence related to Oracle HCM SaaS in the public sector.


Qualifications

Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or related field, with 15+ years in technology delivery. Experience in Oracle HCM SaaS solution development, pre-sales support, and technical proposal creation. Minimum 5 years experience working with state, local government agencies or educational institutions. Demonstrated success implementing Oracle HCM solutions in multiple public sector environments. Thorough understanding of public sector HR requirements, regulations, and compliance issues. Experience with state, local, and education (SLED) procurement processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and publishing software. US Citizen with ability to obtain US Government clearance.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    Technical SME in HCM requirements and functionality in Oracle SaaS environments. Strong understanding of public sector HR processes and technical constraints. Experience with state/local government budgeting cycles and education-specific HR requirements. Demonstrated ability to establish customer relationships and communicate effectively. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail. Oracle HCM Cloud certification required; ITIL and PMP certifications preferred. Knowledge of IT ATO processes (NIST, FEDRAMP) and government security requirements. Proven track record of proposal development resulting in contract awards.
