SMB SaaS Sales Executive, Public Sector

Job Description
As a member of our Small Medium Business Sales Team - Public Sector, you will help communities become smart, sustainable Cities. You can become a leader in the transition to data-driven planning. This person will be responsible for selling SaaS and related mobility data offerings, executing successful sales strategies and tactics to meet annual and quarterly sales targets. You will bring your sales expertise to prospecting for new business and closing deals of up to $100,000 ARR.
This position requires past success in prospecting, developing, and closing SaaS and/or data product sales. A working knowledge of transportation metrics, location-based services data (LBS), GIS or related geospatial data is strongly preferred.
Location: Remote within the US. PT or MT time zones preferred.
What You'll Do
* Prospecting, and selling StreetLight's mobility data offerings including SaaS, and custom project subscriptions to cities and other small public agencies.
* Closing subscription sales up to six figures.
* Consistently prospecting for new business and building your sales pipeline through individual, outbound efforts.
* Promptly responding to and qualifying inbound leads generated through marketing channels.
* Effectively presenting and demonstrating StreetLight products to prospects via video conferencing and attending occasional in person conferences.
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
* 3-5 years of experience in a closing role.
* Experience selling SaaS products, extra points if you have experience in data, analytics, GIS or related field.
* A strong work ethic and understanding that self-discipline and hard work are a minimum standard for success in Sales.
* Proven ability to learn and execute a sale process.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to explain and demonstrate a technical product to both decision makers and end-users.
* Familiarity with modern sales engagement and automation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce.
* A strong team player, comfortable working up, down and across organizations, internally and externally, to create success for yourself and your teammates.

Preferred Skills:
Previous experience selling to engineering, construction, transportation, government agencies, and/or architecture is a plus.
Total comp for this role is initially projected at $05,000 to 125,000 after OTE but commissions are uncapped.

Work you'll do
+ Lead total cash compensation studies for a variety of public sector clients
+ Lead the development of base pay and incentive compensation programs
+ Lead M&A integration projects focusing on program and job harmonization
+ Model financial impact of compensation plans in support of compensation plan analysis and design
+ Lead compensation function process definition and organization structure design projects
+ Collaborate with clients to conduct performance metrics studies
+ Prepare client reports including exhibits and summaries
+ Lead significant portions of large client projects and workstreams; manage mid-sized to large projects with minimal direction; effectively leverage project management techniques, (i.e. leading status update meetings and managing project financials)

Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or another related field
+ Ten years of professional experience in job evaluation/architecture, compensation analysis/design, and/or total rewards
+ Five years of management consulting experience in a leadership role
+ Experience designing compensation and job architecture programs for government clients
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
+ Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients/sectors you serve
Preferred:
+ Advanced degree in a related field
+ Relevant certifications, such as CCP, PHR, and others
+ Experience writing proposals and leading business development activities
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $158,900 to $292,900.
