Job Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to use your analytical, project management, and communication skills to drive business results.

Manage special projects, oversee GPO/Co-Op management activities, and manage analysis for State/Local Government customers. Will also be responsible for providing strategic direction, guidance, and support, ensuring accountability for meeting or exceeding the operational objectives and priorities as they relate to State/Local Government customers. Take ownership of driving and optimizing value add programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the State/Local Government customers segment by working with Leadership to design and execute a plan of action to drive business results.
  • Provide recommendations and advanced critical thinking to identify improvement opportunities across State/Local Government.
  • Work with Leadership to identify and develop new programs aligned to drive value and address industry issues for State/Local Government customers.
  • Support efforts related to GPO and Co-Op contracts for EMS and State/Local Government customers. Ensure contract pricing and terms are managed accordingly to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Monitor product costs and margins and works with product divisions and sales on improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Medline representatives and existing customer relationships to understand areas to improve.
  • Analyze ordering patterns to identify potential opportunities for product conversions and rate changes.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales. Set the prioritization of initiatives and projects.
  • Responsible for ongoing reporting and management: Budget vs Spend, Competitive Pricing, Overall Performance Metrics.
  • Collaborate with Leadership to ensure that both strategic and tactical plans are aligned with the long-term strategy by creating and owning the business planning as they relate to State/Local Government.
  • Track and record activity on accounts to ensure sales targets and goals are met.
  • Meet with finance regularly to review profitability improvement opportunities, this may include evaluating the overall profitability of a group or individual customer.
  • Identify underperforming customer relationships and work across departments to improve performance and profitability.
  • Develop and execute on a one-year and three-year business plan that ensures short-term and long-term growth and profitability.
  • Support field sales team on large projects; system account setup, coordination of activities associated with onboarding new customers and substantial business wins (conversion activities) and ensure accuracy of account customer types through ongoing management.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$96,200.00 - $144,560.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

What Is the Opportunity?

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for investigating, evaluating, reserving, negotiating and resolving assigned General Liability - Public Sector claims. As an Associate Project Manager II in the Public Sector Receivables Operations, you will support the team in tackling operational challenges and addressing strategic issues vital to the business. Your role will involve collaboration with Operations business owners and the Product team to monitor key deliverables. Your projects will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, evaluating and planning operations capacity, utilizing data to pinpoint performance and process improvement opportunities, and supporting other significant business initiatives. Your projects are typically team-based and require interaction and collaboration with leaders and employees across the division.
**Job responsibilities**
+ Assist in overseeing operational initiatives from conception to completion, supporting the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring alignment with key organizational goals.
+ Support the adoption and implementation of best practices across project teams to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
+ Understand and represent business requirements for client and operations business owners.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Product, and Technology to support project successes and timely deliveries.
+ Generate regular project status reports, executive summaries, meeting minutes, and action items.
+ Perform impact analyses for business initiatives to determine key business groups that will be required to undergo operational process changes.
+ Document end-to-end process flows, including client interactions and operations changes, and motivate progress on tasks and actions through regular status meetings with business partners.
+ Monitor and report project progress to leadership and escalate deliverable delays and document "path to Green status."
+ Conduct walkthroughs and product overview/process change sessions to update stakeholders and user groups and foster a culture of inclusion, focused on innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
+ Manage role support for US Federal government contracts that require U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent status
**Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities**
+ Experience in project management or structured coordination.
+ Ability to motivate end-to-end process reviews and process re-engineering and able to learn the operational aspects of Receivables Operations quickly.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present in a clear and action-oriented manner.
+ Ability to create executive presentations, project status scorecards for management, stakeholders, and team members.
+ Experience working with cross-functional teams from Operations, Product, and Technology with the ability to influence others and motivate desired outcomes.
+ Able to multitask and prioritize, with strong organization and problem-solving skills, and able to develop metrics designed to measure project/program successes.
+ Proficiency with the Microsoft product suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Visio, Word).
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including non-traditional and additional hours as needed to meet business demands.
**Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities**
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or Equivalent Project/Organization experience.
+ Knowledge of Remittance Processing, Receivable Products or Lockbox process.
