Job Summary:
This position is 'hands on' relative to SAP (strong SAP proficiency required) with a focus on achieving on time delivery, inventory targets, materials management strategies and materials initiatives using a collaborative/team approach with key Finance personnel.
This collaborative role interacts with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, IT, Product Development and 3PL partners. The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate within an IPT environment, utilizing strong SAP troubleshooting skills. This role will interface with other international sites so flexibility to support international calls is desired.
Essential Job Functions:
- Support and provide input on processes to optimize SIOP.
- Responsible for the execution of Receiving and Warehousing transactions to include the scheduling and movement of dropship materials.
- Perform transactions in the SAP ERP system for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Manage and maintain records of shipments and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Key resource in managing and troubleshooting issues related to the material drop ship process along with extensive interaction with our shipping partners.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, Customer Service, and vendors on purchase orders, customer returns, and create designs.
- Schedule shipments, manage shipping rates, and ensure appropriate customs paperwork for international shipments.
- Respond to customer inquiries about shipment statuses and maintain effective communication with sister sites for documentation and transactions.
- In addition to the above, will serve as an expert within own discipline serves as a resource for best practices on functional teams or projects. Has strong problem-solving skills and trains/mentor's junior staff. Adhere and encourage others to follow Safran Leadership Model and is an expert on tools.

Physical Demands:

Work experience:
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Qualifications:**
- CDL Class A required
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
