Responsible for Inventory Control in a fast-paced production plant within FreshRealm's operations team. The Inventory Control Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring maximum efficiency while at all times maintaining the highest standards of company specifications. The Supervisor ensures adequate inventory of material and products in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy. Provide training and motivation to team members, using recognition, positive feedback, and other rewards with appropriate discretion in a continuous improvement environment. Follows all health and safety standards and enforces the use of PPE's.
**Key Responsibilities**
? Complies with and promotes all GMP's
? Executes and Promotes safe work practices at all times
? Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
? Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures (FIFO)
? Train staff in product dating and create procedures to eliminate loss
? Notify leadership of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability
? Receive inbound product
? Ship outbound product
? Audit inbound & outbound movements for accuracy
? Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
**Skills and Requirements**
? Basic math skills required (counting, multiplication, conversions, fractions)
? Practical experience with ERP software (SAP experience a plus)
? An understanding of basic warehouse operations
? An understanding of perishable food stocking
? An understating Just In Time inventory strategies
? Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
? Excellent communication skills
? Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task
? Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills required
? Ability to tolerate short periods of exposure to freezer temperatures
? Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
**Experience / Education**
? Completion of High School or GED
? A Minimum 2 years experience in inventory & receiving, management experience preferred. Internal applicants with less experience and demonstrated leadership are encouraged to apply and will be considered
? Experience working in a Just in Time (JIT) and/or Perishable Food Manufacturing and/or Warehousing environment applying common processes, procedures, and/or equipment preferred
? Experience managing Just in Time (JIT) and/or Perishable Food Inventory preferred
? Experience with GMP practices preferred

**Summary**
Tracks physical inventory of product, allocates inventory and maintains accurate records to ensure quality, shelf life and tracking of product. Actively involved in the company safety program and the long-term and short-term goals of the department.
**Compensation Data**
This position has a target wage of $20.00-23.50 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

**Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Accurately controls and tracks physical inventory of product.
+ Maintains Distribution Center (DC) warehouse clean and in order.
+ Allocates inventory against orders.
+ Schedules orders to WPL scales to be completed by the WPL team.
+ Maintains status of orders through entire process.
+ Participates in inventory process and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
+ Maintains accurate records of quanitity, type and value of stock.
+ Maintains inventory database.
+ Prepares all required reports and correspondence; performs required administrative tasks
**Minimum Education**
High School or equivalent
**Experience Requirements**
0 to 2 years. Knowledge of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Position is active. On the plant floor activities such as troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems are routine. May need to move equipment occasionally; ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs boxes and materials. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
