Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Supply Chain Manager 2 - 1st Shift (4/10 Monday - Thursday) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite at our Palmdale Center of Excellence located **onsite** in Palmdale, CA.

**Responsibilities include:**
+ Lead a team of exempt and non-exempt employees, who are responsible for the shipping and receiving operations supporting various production programs.
+ Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement, etc.
+ Responsible for meeting direct budget targets, writing/updating work instructions, providing performance metrics, and making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
+ Leads a team that has the mission statement to support all Production goals and objectives through the accurate tracking, receiving, shipping with a strong focus on safety and cost efficiency.
+ Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
+ Train and guide employees in keeping with all Northrop Grumman Values & Leader Characteristics
+ Collaborate with various programs on projects related to material receipt, storage, issue, and transportation.
+ Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers, including local, state, federal, and international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of Aeronautics Systems Sector programs.
+ Directs team activities associated with program transportation, including major deliveries (classified and unclassified), and specialty movements as they relate to transportability.

**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management OR a Master's Degree with at least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, project management OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, project management
+ Must have 2+ years of prior experience leading a team/process/project
+ Must have basic knowledge of Material Requirements Planning or Enterprise Resource planning and/or equivalent Planning experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
+ Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude.
+ Working Knowledge of SAP
Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. **Who You Are**
A member of the Global Supply Chain Management Team within ADP Skunkworks, Category Management, as a Manager
**What You Will Be Doing**
You'll lead multifunctional subcontract management teams on two highly classified, unacknowledged programs. This role require daily engagement with the Program Office, Engineering, Logistics, Business Management, Finance, Contracts, as well as with the supply base. You will hold procurement delegation and may sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. You'll drive performance and accountability from the buyers, ensuring they have the proper tools, skillsets, and support to be successful. You will work with multiple suppliers of highly specialized subsystems for classified programs and will review work for compliance, provide guidance to the team throughout the procurement process and lifecycle, and assist with larger challenges and projects for the betterment of the supply chain team and programs.
You will also use your extensive knowledge base of acquisition policies and procedures (associated knowledge of FAR / DFAR requirements) and will be required to work on-site full time from Palmdale.

Experienced supply chain management professional who has led complex US DoD subcontract teams
Proficient in FFP, CPFF, CPIF & T&M contract types, and the impact of executed decisions
Experienced with Purchase Order negotiations to include solving complex challenges associated with subcontract execution
Experience leading teams or projects, and mentoring peers & subordinates on how to procure and manage subcontracts
Experience collaborating and communicating
cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion
Advanced Microsoft Office suite of applications
Domestic & International travel and manage supply base to include (up to 10% travel)
You must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this role
**Desired Skills:**
Advanced experience & understanding of Subcontract and Supplier Management concepts, as well as overall cost, schedule, technical and quality performance for supply base
Experience in formal project management methodologies, such as Root Cause, RCCA and systems analysis tools, processes, and methods
Experience briefing internal and external executive level leaders
Experienced as a professional communicator and a team leader; as this person will be responsible for building great relationships with supplier leaders, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics counterparts, and some SPO (customer) staff
