**Position Summary**
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory while maintaining the Pharmacy in a clean, orderly, and professional manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, replenishment tasks, put away, cycle counting, return product management, B/O and Days' Supply monitoring and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.
- Managing returned goods according to standard operating procedures while also monitoring product trends and shortages to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
- Ensure pharmacy pick stations are properly stocked with medication and supplies.
- Assist in maintaining dispensing and back stock refrigerators in a well organized manner.
- Provide Operations Assistants with adequate packing supplies and ensure pack stations are stocked appropriately.
- Monitor and pull short dated or expired product from active inventory.
- Filing inventory and SOX documentation.
- Assists with other duties as assigned and/or any other tasks as assigned by Leadership.
This position could be physically demanding. Must be able to sit, stand, pull, push, reach, stretch, walk and be physical for multiple hours of the day.
**Required Qualifications**
- 1 year professional work experience in a warehouse, purchasing and/or inventory environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) software
- Pharmacy Technician License within 3 months of hire

The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organization's inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.
**_Job Role /Responsibilities:_**
+ Maintains consistent stock of inventory.
+ Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
+ Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
+ Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.
+ Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
+ Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
+ Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
+ Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
+ Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
+ Operates forklift truck when necessary.
+ Print Count Sheets in location sequence. Conduct physical inventory count and enter quantity onto Count Sheet. Record and enter count results into system.
+ Research inventory discrepancies by cycle counting discrepant items. Run transaction history to identify root cause and resolution.
+ Conduct search of "Staging" areas. Perform "Empty" location audits. Record and report the results of the count and audits. Report findings to department supervisor or designated representative.
+ Compiles, verifies, and reports daily and/or periodic statistical information aimed at detecting trends to improve and maintain the overall health of inventory.
+ Assist in moving product in facility to improve efficiencies and optimization of storage.
+ Assist in other areas such as operations, shipping and receiving as needed.
+ Performs other related duties as requested.

+ Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
+ Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
+ Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.

What You'll Do:


The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate reporting of inventory through cycle counts and quality control verification.

  • Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments
  • Review spreadsheets to locate new products that will be arriving in the facility
  • Slot items and maintain correct minimum and maximum pick amounts based on the type and velocity of the product

What You Will Do In This Role:

THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Manages and coordinates manufacturing runs to meet optimal supply and demand needs.
• Processes and reviews vendor invoices and freight claims to ensure cost efficiency.
• Analyzes the logistics activities and functions for Hyosung HICO, working with vendors and suppliers to streamline product manufacturing, transportation, storage and distribution.
• Executes the transportation and inventory functions for Hyosung HICO consisting of inbound and outbound freight, shipping/ receiving area, and inventory control optimization. Review analyzes and schedule shipments into and out of Hyosung HICO to ensure cost and schedule adherence. Optimize transportation for full loads, product tracking, route analysis, rerouting, costing, and usage alternatives.
• Writes, revises, and trains employees on standard operating procedures for logistics and warehouse processes.
• Researches, develops and implements best practice techniques to measure, drive and achieve goals for on time delivery, price, quality, and inventory management. Serve as liaison between vendors/suppliers and Hyosung HICO to maximize and maintain vendor/supplier performance.
• Forecasts material usage to manufacturing schedule and coordinate with purchasing to ensure the materials are available when required. Identify and recommend remediation actions as necessary.
• Analyzes and optimizes costs of inbound and outbound transportation as part of supply arrangements. Develops and execute action plans to reduce costs of freight forwarders. Approves expedited shipping costs. Provides justification for costs and preventive measures to limit future expedite fees.
• Ensures department policies exist and are followed to review inventory transactions, levels and storage locations for accuracy and conformance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Using ERP and other tools, maintains optimal inventory of materials, and components to efficiently support continuous manufacturing operations.
• Reports monthly on the logistics and inventory control activities status to established goals.
• Monitors industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
• Furthers the goals and positive, professional image of the factory by conducting business with other Hyosung HICO divisions, departments, suppliers, etc. in a timely and cooperative manner.
• Know Hyosung HICO's Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $74,800 - 112,200 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Participate in semi-complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely delivery of supplies and materials and expedites as vital.
  • Effectively manage supply programs to meet lead times, as well as delivery dates for projects and sales orders.
  • Procure and manage material to meet quality, delivery, inventory, and price targets (use SAP).
  • Own daily working relationships with suppliers, category leaders and project leaders within the Parts Logistics Team while effectively connect with and engage all levels of the organization as well as key suppliers and customers.
  • Assess demand and place purchase orders for Spare Part purchases. Review incoming orders, verify ship dates, and connect with suppliers to confirm delivery dates, and expedite order delivery as needed.
  • Maintain material master data on assigned part numbers in SAP and act as the point of contact with suppliers and participate in negotiation of prices, terms, and quality requirements.
  • Support supplier quality and supplier development activities, including supervising and improving delivery reliability and lead time reduction.
  • Resolve semi-complex delivery, quality or other related problems with invoices or purchases and ensure purchase orders are legally compliant and have the accurate customer flow downs and specifications of purchase.
  • Optimally apply knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of Supply Chain Management.
  • Solid understanding of SAP and EDI transmission of the procure-to-pay process, including data elements.
What We Are Looking For:
  • 3 -5 years minimum proven experience in purchasing or Materials Management. Manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Demonstrates good grasp of knowledge of the field.
  • 3-5 years minimum proven experience with SAP desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or Business.
  • CPIM or CSCP preferred.
  • We are looking for a candidate with Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt preferred but not required.
  • Got Microsoft? You'll need strong skills with Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships both internally, across all functional organization and externally with supplies and customers.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Update and distribute multiple reports to internal and external customers
  • Extract customer orders to be processed
  • Daily interaction with UAW / Leadership
  • Data entry administrative functions in established computer programs
  • Sort and dispatch orders
  • Escalate and resolve daily issues that arise
  • Ensure dispatch boards meet standard by customer
  • Support other departments as required
