**Position Summary**
Primary responsibility to monitor modules for exceptions for inventory and location discrepancies. Also responsible for conducting physical inventories, researching locator problems, and adjusting the book inventory with the approval of the Inventory Control Supervisor. Responsible for assigned production locations and thereby the Warehouse Service Level.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Make necessary adjustments to the inventory by completing an Inventory Transaction form with the Inventory Control, Supervisor's approval and, when necessary, keypunch this data into the system to include keypunching markouts.
+ Check the Item Backup Report for credits; research the credits and take the necessary action to alleviate the credit, either by expediting the merchandise to the pick location or by making an approved adjustment to the inventory.
+ Take other physical inventories as requested by Management, Buyers, Accounting, Merchandise Billing, or Production.
+ Perform scanning functions when required and make adjustments as requested by the appropriate personnel.
+ Conduct Cycle Counts as required and communicate with Buyers, Buyer's Secretaries, Accounting Personnel, Merchandise Billing, CO-OP, the Inventory Control Supervisor, and other Management members regarding any inventory discrepancies.
+ During cycle counts and daily operations, review any merchandise with an expiration date, date code, or lot control number, and expedite the Return-To-Vendor (RTV) procedure by notifying the Buyer and Returns Processor, adjusting the inventory, and moving the merchandise to Returns.
+ When required, operate turret trucks, fork trucks, order pickers, or any other mobile-powered equipment in a safe, responsible manner as defined in the Operation training and Certification Program and through Management directives.
+ Review the new items reports daily to identify items to be slotted.
+ Review each day's receipts and the new items staging area throughout the day for any new items to be assigned locations (slotted).
+ Allocate a home and pick location for each regular new item by attaching item tickets to the home location rack.
+ Cut cartons, determine the proper stock prep code, and then fill the assigned location with the new item.
+ Monitor merchandise velocity reports regularly to determine when changes or revamps are necessary.
+ Remove discontinued merchandise from all of its Pick, Backup and Random locations and remove all item tickets. Notify Return Goods personnel or Supervisor when completed.
+ Complete a Daily Activity Worksheet neatly and accurately and submit it to the I.C. Supervisor at the end of each workday.
+ Maintain neat and accurate files of all slotting activity as a backup to the on-line system.
+ Process and prepare all transfer requests.
+ Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor/Management.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 1-2 years' experience in Inventory Control in a warehouse environment
+ Must be self-motivated and a team player able to work independently and in groups.
+ Must have a good attendance and safety record
+ Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must have good math and problem-solving skills and be able to reason logically.
+ Ability to read, write and count accurately.
+ Ability to operate a computer, calculator, and other office equipment.
+ Ability to interact on a professional level, whether by telephone or other means, with all support areas.
+ Must work with a sense of urgency.
+ Experience with WMS necessary
+ Will provide training on power equipment
+ Lifting: occasional light.
+ Frequent bending/reaching/stooping; constant walking/standing/climbing
+ Ability to operate (to height of 40 feet) and be certified as an operator of order picker.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.

The typical pay range for this role is:

The Logistics Specialist will maintain accountability of in-stock components as well as receive and process inbound shipments. You will also assist with ongoing requests to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained and distributed to all locations to support build and repair activities. Working with the Logistics Manager, they create plans to optimize the flow and delivery of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory locations and movement. They work closely with Datacenter Operations Technicians to fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately. They will also work with Procurement teams to ensure that inbound equipment orders are complete and delivered to appropriate Data Center Locations.
They are responsible for accurate data entry and resolving questions from peer organizations. Additionally, the Logistics Specialist will ensure that all information associated with the deliveries such as inventory tracking and Ticket updates are accurate to ensure equipment is ready for processing by end user.
The ideal Logistics Specialist will dive deep into the inventory they maintain to better understand the consumption, control and accuracy surrounding the components. The Logistics Specialist will be involved in, if not responsible for or limited to, decision making involving shipping and receiving of components, load planning, loading and unloading equipment, daily equipment receiving and processing, ultimately helping us to deliver on our goals of high availability and low cost. They will also maintain up-to-date metrics dashboards and or excel spreadsheets and will create reports for internal and external customer and management as required.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities can and will include manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of materials, handling incoming shipments, unpack boxes and verify contents. Load and unload large equipment utilizing pallet jacks. The Logistics Specialist will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.
Logistics Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of transportation, shipping and receiving as well as inventory control, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift).

Transportation Operations team is seeking highly skilled and motivated Logistics Specialists to assist in the management of daily freight movements flowing into and out of our North American fulfillment centers and our associated fulfillment network. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a huge growth area.

An ideal candidate has a background in transportation and excellent program management skills. They have the ability to pull and analyze data with ease, drive process improvements, standardize our processes and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems. This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.

After Training Hours: must be open to all shifts listed below:

Front Half: Sunday through Wednesday (8am to 6:30pm - 4, 10 Hour shifts)

Back Half: Wednesday through Saturday 8am to 6:30pm - 4, 10 Hour shifts)

Donut: Mon/Tues, Thursday/Fri 8am to 6:30pm - 4, 10 Hour shifts)

Monday through Friday (8am to 5pm – 5, 8 hour shifts)

**Note: PEAK Season (Oct-Dec) You can work upwards of 10-20 hours of OT a week, based on business need.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

· Logistics or Transportation Experience preferred

· MS Office experience required, with intermediate level in Excel

· Bachelors is a plus

· Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.

· Data management & data quality control experience with experience pulling and analyzing large sets of data

· Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement.

Summary of Functions

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to support our daily operations. Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is a customer-service oriented individual responsible for receiving and inventory management, job material management and handling, tool and equipment maintenance, recycling and sustainability, operational support, branch-specific duties, safety and compliance. This individual plays a critical role in the overall success of a branch by ensuring appropriate inventory levels, processing purchase orders and other transactions in a timely manner, providing operational support and a superior level of material management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing regular cycle counts for main branch warehouse and fleet vehicles to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Receiving PO's provided by vendors.
  • Ensuring all received materials are stocked and organized in the branch warehouse.
  • Inventory level management.
  • Staging materials ready for transfer and managing inventory withdrawals and transfers.
  • Utilizing ServiceTrade for parts ordering and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinating shipments with carriers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage overall tool issuance and inspection as well as oversee calibration of scales, gauges and other instruments per industry standards and requirements.
  • Oversee recycling and waste management program as well as identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Safely operate equipment and heavy machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment.
  • Overall maintenance and organization of branch warehouse.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions, receipts and shipments are documented accurately in JDE1 and physical records as required.
  • Other duties as needed.
Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of material handling or logistics experience.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly JDE1.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceTrade for parts order updates and job-level status tracking.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with particular attention to detail for managing inventory levels, job material updates and WIP meeting action items.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination between Operations, Shared Branch Services, Managers and Vendors.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • License issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms due to handling of potentially explosive materials.
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Transportation Operations team is seeking highly skilled and motivated Logistics Specialists to assist in the management of daily freight movements flowing into and out of our North American fulfillment centers and our associated fulfillment network. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a huge growth area.
An ideal candidate has a background in transportation and excellent program management skills. They have the ability to pull and analyze data with ease, drive process improvements, standardize our processes and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems. This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
After Training Hours: must be open to all shifts listed below:
Front Half: Sunday through Wednesday (8am to 6:30pm - 4, 10 Hour shifts)
Back Half: Wednesday through Saturday 8am to 6:30pm - 4, 10 Hour shifts)
Donut: Mon/Tues, Thursday/Fri 8am to 6:30pm - 4, 10 Hour shifts)
Monday through Friday (8am to 5pm - 5, 8 hour shifts)
**Note: PEAK Season (Oct-Dec) You can work upwards of 10-20 hours of OT a week, based on business need.
**Note: Due to PEAK season falling on holidays, if you are scheduled to work on a holiday, you will have to work your standard shift.

•Review data and reports related to appointment and arrival times and the ability to make business decisions/process improvement based off of reported data.
•Excellent communication, both verbal and written as you will be required to create a narrative outlining your weekly findings and the variances to goals, and present these finding in a review forum.
•Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
•Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in transportation operations.
•Must be able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
•Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
•Ability to scope out business and functional requirements for the tech teams who create and enhance the software systems and tools we use.
•Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
•Logistics or Transportation Experience preferred
•MS Office experience required, with intermediate level in Excel
•Bachelors is a plus
•Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.
•Data management & data quality control experience with experience pulling and analyzing large sets of data
•Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement.
•A self-starter who loves data and who enjoys spotting the trends in it!

The pay range for this position is $3.00 - 23.00/hr.
