Work Schedule and Location:

This is typically a Monday Friday, 8 hour schedule with flexibility to work occasionally beyond the scheduled work day. This is an on-site position primarily based at the Community Veterinary Clinic. Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

People Leadership (35%)

  • Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery provided at the ASPCAs CVC according to CMs standard operating procedures and guidelines

  • Train veterinarians in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter (HQHVSN) techniques and other medical protocols (the ASPCAs Learning & Development team provides train the trainer workshops to develop facilitation skills)

  • Be a consistent and visible presence on the floor to answer questions, make timely adjustments, offer support, receive/give feedback, lend a hand, and foster understanding and commitment to ASPCAs mission

  • Provide compassionate, quality preventive and basic care to patients in underserved areas, overseeing all aspects of veterinary care during a clinic day including physical examination, diagnostics, treatment recommendations and delivery, prescribing of medications and discharge information

  • Work side by side with staff veterinarians as a PPC doctor or HQHVSN surgeon treating cats and dogs as both a scheduled shift and fill-in coverage as needed

  • Diagnose and treat post-surgical complications on an outpatient basis

  • Triage and refer cases that do not fall within the Community Medicine parameters of care as appropriate

Ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move packages, boxes and luggage up to 50 lbs continuously throughout shift. Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions. Sufficient manual dexterity in one hand to be able to load and unload luggage. Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances on property. Ability to bend, stoop, walk and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. **What will I be doing?**
+ Retrieves guest items from cars, busses, vans and carts. Grasp, lift, carry and/or load luggage and packages onto a bell cart to transport items throughout hotel to designated room. Navigates bell cart through public areas, guest room corridors and to elevators.
+ Escorts customers to accommodations, visually inspects room and reports any deficiencies such as towels to housekeeping immediately. Points out room features and directory for reference.
+ Listens and responds to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answers Questions and offer assistance giving accurate information regarding outlet hours, other hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc.
+ Organizes and store luggage as necessary in a designated area.
+ Greets customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Remain calm and attentive, especially during heavy hotel activity and emergencies.

Operate company vehicle weighing under 26,000 lb (GVW) transporting passengers or transporting supplies and equipment to and from designated locations
Drivers are required to drive defensively, safely, and cautiously in all situations
Exceptional customer service skills are needed when encountering guests; to ensure a good positive representation of is always demonstrated
Picking up and dropping off guests at designated locations
Drivers transporting passengers should be highly knowledgeable about the property and the surrounding areas, acting as a concierge resource for all guests.

Identify maintenance and safety issues and take the correct steps to correct them, and report malfunctions immediately.

**The Role**
Field Researchers are the talented and versatile team responsible for data collection that supports all CoStar Group products.  Whether capturing information around new tenants and their occupancy or identifying available space, our research brings significant value to the real estate industry.  This newly formed team is focused on capturing all current tenants, available listings and building characteristics in high priority commercial properties, ensuring that the most accurate and comprehensive market picture is presented to our clients.
Field Researchers are highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals who will thoroughly canvass commercial properties in a defined geographic territory. Field Researchers are managed by a manager located in our Richmond, VA office. This role will be based in the market.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Navigate one-mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage.
+ Thorough walk through assigned commercial buildings floor-by-floor to document detailed tenant data, including business name, full address, suite size, geo-location, and media.
+ Professionally communicate with building staff and management to gain access to tenant rosters and any available property data.
+ Identify new or missing inventory, along with missing availabilityand other commercial data.
+ Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of all collected information
+ Always represent CoStar in a professional manner.
**Physical Requirements**
+ Frequent and repetitive standing, walking and sitting in a car for8 hours per day. 
+ Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds  
+ Repetitive hand and arm movements are needed to type on a tablet or laptop.
+ Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are necessary to perform job functions. 
+ Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons.
**Qualifications:**  
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College (preferred).
+ At least 2 years of professional experience
+ Strong time management skills and very detailed oriented; enjoys working independently.
