The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.
This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
Candidates must have one prior travel assignment.
The nurse will work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours per week.
The patient ratio is 1:4 for nights and weekends.
Weekend shifts are every other weekend, and holiday shifts are every other holiday.
On-call duties are not required for this position.
Procedural Sedation Administration skills are necessary.
Experience with ventilated patients, triaging, and charge nurse duties is preferred.
Candidates will provide care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The daily census averages 90 visits with a total of 39 staffed beds.
Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and social services.
This role involves administering emergency medications, managing central lines, and starting IVs.
Compliance with requirements is strictly enforced, including prior supervisory references.
No time off is allowed in the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days of time off preferred over the 13-week contract.
All submittals will be reviewed by the clinical team, and the selected candidates may or may not be interviewed.
