- Set up production and machines per schedule
- Maintain facilities and equipment per the Preventative Maintenance Schedule and on an as needed basis

KSAs:
- Basic math and computer skills are required
- General maintenance skills relating to building and machinery maintenance is required
- Troubleshooting skills including related to production processes, equipment, and materials
- Extensive experience with hand and powered tools including: mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, sheet metal brakes, welders, etc.
- Knowledge and skills in electrical panel construction, wiring, and pneumatic
- Ability to install and/or relocate equipment
- Experience driving a forklift is required

Onsite - Buffalo, NYWe are looking for an experienced CNC Repair Technician. In this role, we would like you to be knowledgeable in all aspects of machinery and equipment operation, maintenance, and repair, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computer control systems.
This position is in East Aurora, NY and has a full-time on-site presence. For this opening you will train on 1st shift, however, the position will be specific to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
A typical candidate would currently be a CNC Field Service Engineer or Technician for an OEM or Machine Tool Distributor, or an in-house Lead CNC Maintenance Technician.
To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree in Electrical
Technologies or related skilled-trades degree is highly desired - Typical candidate will have 5 years experience as a repair technician, machinist, or other
skilled-trades related experience as well as some CNC repair experience - Three years, minimum, repairing CNC Machine tools as a primary occupation
- Demonstrated technical knowledge to perform various machine maintenance related
tasks, including but not limited to: complex CNC repairs, machine installations, preventive and predictive maintenance, material handling, rigging, forklift operation, drum and hazardous waste handling
As a Machine Repair Tech III, you will:
- Effectively and safely troubleshoot and repair complex machinery in a team or single worker environment, this includes extremely precise alignments in multiple planes on advanced equipment in often awkward ergonomic positions
- Support Moog East Aurora production requirements; work to maintain and repair machinery in an effective and timely manner
- Utilize the CMMS system (Maximo) to effectively document work logs, inventory usage, and hours worked
- Maintain personal PC related skills as new software is released and implemented.
- Stay current on new machine technologies through OEM and other training as required
- Travel both domestically and internationally to support machine acquisitions and training
- Must follow all applicable safety standards, including but not limited to Lock-Out Tag-Out, NFPA 70E, and Hazardous Material Handling
