We are looking for Sewing Machine Operators (industrial preferred) to operate machinery in our manufacturing facility. Will be part of a team producing apparel and/or leather gloves for the industrial and utility industry.
This is a full-time (Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts) position with full benefits and a starting salary of $16.50/hour with additional earning potential. Must have sewing experience.
A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On the job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve.

Overview
The CNC Lathe Operator follows written and verbal instructions, such as: description of machine’s safety tools function and control of adjustment of machine.
Job Level / Skills
In addition to the duties & skills listed above, the following skills are required for each level, provided that the individual is certified and applies them in their current assignment.
CNC Lathe Operator Level I
- Operates pre-setup of certain simple job operations on CNC machine center
- Checks own work for conformance to specification
- Maintains quality work per company’s specifications using precision measuring equipment
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
CNC Lathe Operator Level II (in addition to CNC Lathe Operator Level I)
- Operates under supervision on a pre-setup job
- Replaces dull cutting inserts and end mills, adjusts offsets to bring all dimensions in tolerance to the print, as required
- Checks own work for conformance to specifications and keeps all SPC diameters and dimensions in control
- Reports machine malfunction to supervisor
- Uses precision measuring instruments to check dimensional accuracy of work
Education and Experience
- HS diploma required
- Minimum 2+ years progressive experience in machine shop environment
- Experience in metal machining industry or some technical training
- Knowledge in the use of all precision instruments and gauges, to submit quality first article parts
- Friendly, enthusiastic and a good team player
- Efficient, accurate, attentive to detail
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
