**Responsibilities**
+ Consistently operates zone of forming machines at or above standard levels considering waste, efficiency and utilization
+ Troubleshoot causes of machine malfunctions
+ Make appropriate adjustments or repairs to ensure that the quality of the cartons meeting specifications and that the machines operate properly
+ Conducts quality checks at regular intervals and takes corrective action to fix defects identified
+ Performs minor repairs during production
+ Performs changeovers
+ Performs weekly machine maintenance
+ Communicates with the operator from the previous and following shifts and with supervisors to review any problems experienced on the machines throughout the department
+ Performs purge procedures when changing to a new product and completes the required checklists
+ Follows LOTO and alternative LOTO procedures
+ Maintains a clean and orderly work area
**Qualifications**
+ 1+ year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
+ Some mechanical experience prefrerred
+ HS diploma or GED equivalent is required
+ The ability to read and understand safety protocols and equipment manuals written in English is required

Requirements:

We're looking for someone with:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Basic math, measurement and documentation skills
  • Ability to safely operate industrial equipment, such as forklifts
  • Comfort wearing PPE like gloves and respirators
  • Problem-solving aptitude to handle issues independently
  • Internal motivation, pride in work, and a desire to grow within the company
