The Mail Clerk at Albert & Mackenzie will ensure that all mail is processed timely and in accordance with firm policies.
Primary responsibilities:
- Process outgoing mail through the postage system and bill accordingly
- Dropping off mail at the post office
- Inbound mail
- Scanning/Uploading
- Returned Mail
- Process CD's & USB's Content
- Processing Bulk Document Content
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and work well under pressure with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have pride in work product. This is a fast-paced position that requires critical thinking skills, and the ability to problem-solve.

Duties include but are not exclusively:
Accepting and checking in mail and shipments of supplies and equipment
Delivery of mail, supplies, and equipment within the building.
Pick up of mail, supplies, and equipment from within the building.
Filing paperwork by date, PO #'s, etc.
Manual labor is a significant aspect of the position and the use of manual material moving equipment such as hand carts will he required. Please have candidates describe any material handling experience and equipment used.
While infrequent, larger items will be moved by the person in this position using appliance carts and equipment lifts.
Help and the proper equipment will be supplied. Training will be provided, as necessary.
Hours: 8AM - 4PM with ½ hour lunch(Not paid lunch)
7.5 hours paid/day.
Off street parking is not available. (Paid visitor parking is available)
Refrigerator and Microwave are in the office/workspace.
Due to the nature of the work being done the following dress code is necessary:
No open toed shoes
Only rugged, shoe/sneaker/boot type footwear that protects feet.
No heels - only flat footwear

+ Sort and distribute incoming mail.
+ Prepare outgoing mail (enveloping, stamping, sorting).
