In this role you will…
This position will install, repair, or replace commercial overhead/pedestrian doors, loading dock equipment, storefront, automatic sliding doors, and/or gates on new construction projects in addition to service and replacement work.

- Must be mechanically inclined with construction skills.
- Previous experience with installation of automatic doors is a plus.
- Familiar with the use of hand and power tools and can work independently and alongside a team.
- Ability to lift to 75 lbs. with or without accommodation.
- Ability to communicate with building owner/managers, job site superintendents as well as other stakeholders.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work with internal Project Managers and Sales Team.
- Effectively communicate, understand oral instructions, read and interpret documents and instructions.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols.
- Must have valid driver's license and insurable MVR record.
- Must have reliable transportation.

• Must have CPO certification
• Point of contact during all Regional Engineer visits, the Chief Engineer should spend the entire visit with Regional Engineer
• Weekly property walks with General Manager, create list of repairs needed and delegate accordingly
• Weekly manager meeting participation
• Monitor Quore, ensure maintenance personnel is accurately using Quore (if applicable)
• Actively monitor guest scores and make necessary adjustments to improve maintenance scores
• Track expenses vs monthly budget to ensure they are in line
• Be on-call for any and all after hours emergencies – responding promptly if needed
• Ensure QAs are PASS score for condition scores
• Oversee houseman at both hotels and train new maintenance personnel
• Complete any larger special projects needed by the hotel
• Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor
• Cleans internal areas of buildings, including sweeping and mopping
• Maintains cleanliness of public areas, storage areas, and parking lot
• Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup
• Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials and concrete
• Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks
• Maintains and repairs buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses
• Maintains all fixtures and equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule, and records such as maintenance in log book and Property Preservation Calendar
• Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as truck , street sweeper, and riding mower

- Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts, when possible, not being wasteful with materials and supplies, and practicing the correct use for tools and equipment. Assists in conducting routine and periodic property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns, keep the property in good repair, and communicate concerns about the physical needs of the property to management.
- Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property's maintenance department by tracking inventory used, returning unused items to the established location, and notifying the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.

THE ROLE
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall inspection, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and improvements of our greenhouse food packaging facility. The position is nonunion; it will require performing regular maintenance and repairs of the greenhouse structure, production and manufacturing equipment, electrical, plumbing-PVC, automation, and packaging equipment. The technician must inspect, maintain, and repair manufacturing/production related equipment, building deficiencies, and ensure optimal performance of greenhouse and production system equipment.
This is a hands-on role requiring technical and applied knowledge of integrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with a focus on irrigation systems, greenhouse maintenance, and the installation and repair of production and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess the keen ability to identify and address maintenance and mechanical failures of manufacturing and production equipment and structural/building deficiencies. This position requires the applied knowledge of mechanical installations, servicing, dismantling, rebuilding, and maintenance of greenhouse, production and manufacturing equipment, machinery, automation control systems, and knowledge of commercial building HVAC, PVC plumbing, installations and repair of pumps, and electrical systems.
