As a Building Engineer within our Outpatient Medical portfolio, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing the value of our healthcare properties. **Responsibilities**
+ Perform and assist other associates in the maintenance, repair, operation, and general upkeep at assigned properties.
+ Respond to tenant requests regarding lighting, plumbing, and other building problems.
+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and components, including physical structures, plumbing, door hardware, electrical, and mechanical.
+ Perform minor service, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems.
+ Work with sub-contractors and vendors as needed.
+ Assist other company departments as requested.
+ Participate in all workplace safety training and comply with all safety policies and procedures, utilizing all safety equipment as required.
+ Identify and immediately mitigate any unsafe conditions or hazards and develop recommendations on how to remove or safeguard the hazard.
+ Assist in responding to after-hours calls and emergency situations and perform tasks necessary for the well-being and protection of the property and tenants.

**Work Environment**
You will work inside and outside buildings, exposed to various weather conditions, electricity, rotating equipment, heights, and maintenance chemicals such as paints, adhesives, solvents, and water treatments. Physical effort is required, including heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and the ability to climb ladders and scaffolds. The typical schedule is office hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, with possible half-hour adjustments. On-call rotation includes a flat fee for weekends, with time and a half if called in.
