As the Sr. Manager, Data Operations Lead, you will run and support our global, multi-region data platform. The ideal candidate is AWS and GCP certified, has a solid background in data operations and support, and is highly skilled in handling streaming and batch data pipelines, cloud storage, and production deployments. Primary Responsibilities

Lead and run the data operations team, ensuring 24x7 support for global, multi-region data platforms.

Provide hands-on support for production issues, working closely with engineering and business partners to triage, resolve, and communicate effectively.

Oversee production deployments, ensuring proper validation, rollback strategies, and coordination with DevOps and development teams.

Support and maintain streaming (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub) and batch processing pipelines using Talend, dbt, Apache Airflow, and custom ETL/ELT workflows.

Lead and optimize data storage and access patterns using AWS S3 and GCP GCS.

Ensure smooth and secure operation of distributed data systems such as Amazon EMR, Redshift, and Google BigQuery.

Monitor data infrastructure health using industry-standard tools; enhance observability, alerting, and automated remediation processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, business analysts, and customer success teams to address production and operational issues.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

Lead post-incident reviews and root cause analysis (RCA) efforts, driving continuous improvement.

Handle vendor relationships for third-party tools and services, ensuring SLAs and service quality standards are met.

Provide recommendations for technology adoption to improve data infrastructure.
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in data operations, support, or engineering with a strong focus on cloud-based platforms.

AWS Certified (e.g., Solutions Architect, Data Analytics) and GCP Certified (e.g., Professional Data Engineer).

Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, dbt, workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.

In-depth experience with Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Amazon EMR, AWS S3, and GCP GCS.

Demonstrable experience supporting 24x7 production environments, including on-call rotation and critical incident resolution.

Experience with both streaming and batch data processing architectures.

Purpose
The HR Operations Case Management Lead will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing, implementing, and maintaining the HR Case Management solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of HR Service Delivery (HRSD) principles and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business process improvements.
