Ensure development projects are aligned with prioritized business initiatives and conform to current industry best practices. Develop and track measures of success. Serve as a liaison to other business areas on related learning initiatives.
- Manage ongoing demand and peer organization education for learning technology and development functionality and process enhancements. Evaluate compatibility and alignment of proposed new tools, systems or techniques with current learning strategy and platforms.
- Provide enterprise guidance, development and manage the scheduling and delivery of best in class e-learning, technology enabled face-to-face, synchronous and asynchronous learning content/programs. Ensure effective planning and administration of learning activities and participant records pre and post engagement.
- Identify and assess total throughput and optimum development process, cost model. Propose solution, and scale as needed to meet enterprise demand. Develop requests for proposal and evaluate external solution providers for technical and efficiency viability.
- Attract, recruit and retain a qualified and motivated staff. Establish and communicate clear performance expectations and foster employee engagement, learning, development and growth opportunities. Manage budget and allocate costs to other projects as appropriate. Support the development of service center model for stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep knowledge of business area learning technology and development solutions.
- Five years related experience with enterprise-wide learning systems, eLearning technologies and development team processes.
- Leadership, change management, contracts administration and project management experience.
- Able to understand both technical and business area language and effectively share and translate among others.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and implement systems, solutions and metrics that align with and communicate impact to operational priorities.
- Understanding training methodologies and experience in system administration and design/deployment of technology enabled learning solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with multiple stakeholders and manage a training department as an internal business unit.
- Business process management skillset including Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement Toolsets, and data management skillsets.
