The Telephonic Case Manager RN Medical/Oncology will identify, coordinate, and provide appropriate levels of care. The Telephonic Case Manager RN Medical/Oncology is responsible for clinical operations and medical management activities across the continuum of care (assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating). This includes case management, coordination of care, and medical management consulting.

This is a full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm position in your time zone.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls to assess members current health status
  • Identify gaps or barriers in treatment plans
  • Provide patient education to assist with self-management
  • Make referrals to outside sources
  • Provide a complete continuum of quality care through close communication with members via in-person or on-phone interaction
  • Support members with condition education, medication reviews and connections to resources such as Home Health Aides or Meals on Wheels

This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our members over the phone. Solid computer and software navigation skills are critical. You should also be solidly patient-focused and adaptable to changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in state of residence
  • Active Compact RN License or ability to obtain upon hire

  • Have access to high-speed internet (DSL or Cable)
  • Dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Technology Risk Manager for Divisional CIO Leadership Team and respective software engineering teams to propel technology risk agenda and help DCIO LT make informed decisions in supporting their business partners.

  • Build successful relationships with Tech and other team members to understand the impact of technology risk on critical business processes

  • Perform risk reviews during various processes such as Risk Control and Self Assessments (RCSAs), Process Level Assessments (PLA), Exceptions, Applications, Targeted Risk Assessments and recommend on risk mitigation activities.

  • Influence leaders within Tech, Compliance, Cyber Security, second line risk organizations, and Internal Audit on key technology risks and actions needed

  • Conduct periodic risk reviews with the executives and support reporting for technology risk metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in performing risks assessments and risk advisory work with of for a large scale card or debit payments networks

  • At least 4 years of experience in an information technology or risk management field

  • At least 4 years of experience in project, risk program, or process management

  • At least 4 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal and external business clients

  • At least 4 years of experience consulting with senior executives or strategy building

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM or other Industry Risk Professional Certification

McKesson's Investigational Products Center (IPC) is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the overall study startup and amendment review process for implementation and updates to clinical trials. The Pharmacy Technician will support investigational drug receiving, order fulfillment and inventory processes, and will educate sponsors, clinical trial sites and central staff on the IPC's processes. This team helps onboard clinical trials, and the primary work of this Pharmacy Technician will be reading and comprehending documents related to clinical research trials and entering appropriate information into McKesson's pharmacy management system to support processing of prescription orders.

Shift Details: Standard business hours Monday through Friday. Position will primarily be on-site, with the ability to occasionally work from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports overall study startup and amendment review for system implementation and process changes to clinical trials in which the Investigational Products Center (IPC) participates

  • Responsible for comprehensively reading protocol amendments, pharmacy manuals, and other study documents and determining impacts to IPC internal systems and workflows, and utilizes those same study documents to guide system setup during both study startup and trial maintenance

  • Responsible for creating and modifying IPC documentation pertaining to clinical studies in a timely manner by utilizing Microsoft Word, Smartsheet, and other digital systems

  • Supports receiving, investigational product order fulfilment and inventory processes by maintaining current knowledge of study protocols needed for accurately fulfilling orders

  • Analyzes and recommends improvements to study startup and amendment processes to improve quality and efficiency

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and typically requires 4+ years of relative pharmacy experience

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Registered with Texas State Board of Pharmacy

  • Demonstrated project management and process improvement experience

  • Proven leadership, digital mindset, written and verbal communication skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and ability to use and adapt to digital pharmacy systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PTCB Certification

  • Research experience
