Physician Assistant– Pain Management
Education : HCW must have a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree from a PA educational program accredited by Accreditation Review Commission for the Physician Assistant or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF, is mandatory – OR – f Must have successfully completed all education and training requirements leading to and graduated from an accredited national, state or military equivalent school (MSN or DNP degree) for Nurse Practitioner (Family and/ or Geriatric Specialty)
• General Knowledge : In addition to the general PA or NP skill set, contractor should have advanced knowledge of pharmacology and pain management protocols and demonstrate proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures and injections.
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support (5.2.3): The HCW shall hold and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications using American Heart Association or client guidelines. Members must present proof of current certification(s) through American Heart Association or client.
Experience : Shall have a minimum of 24 months of experience working as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner within the last 36 months. Previous experience in pain management or related fields is required, including knowledge of interventional pain management techniques, pharmacotherapy for chronic pain, and multimodal pain management strategies. Strongly preferred working knowledge of the military healthcare system, including TRICARE health benefits and familiarity with the unique needs of military families.
• Board Certification HCW must hold current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Maintenance of required certification is mandatory – OR – Must hold a Nurse Practitioner certification from either the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
•Licensure/Registration : For positions involving patient care, candidates must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted Physician Assistant license to practice in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States – OR – Must have and maintain throughout course of contract, a current, active, valid, unrestricted license (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions) to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from a US jurisdiction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide a full range of Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner services in primary and specialty medical care within the limits of their training and privileges granted by the MTF (e.g., supervise and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose, treat, and counsel patients as indicated).

• Care shall include but not be limited to continuing, comprehensive health maintenance and medical care to regardless of sex, age, or type of problem.
• Will maintain a program of comprehensive health, to include preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health.
• Will perform occupational health exams and military retirement or separations physicals as operationally needed.
• Will perform virtual mental health assessments as part of military periodic health assessments (PHAs).
• May aid in the primary care for a panel of patients at Operational Medicine Clinics (Nellis or Creech). As a PCM, will be the primary person responsible for the management of the health and wellness of his/her assigned patients. Duties include:
o Examination of patients, formulation differential diagnostic plans, defines and orders required diagnostic testing.
o Interpretation of examination findings and test results, and implementation of treatment plans.
o Answering patient telephone consults with the assistance of clinic staff.
o Ensure a safe work environment and employee safe work habits.
o Prepare records and reports as required in support of services rendered in accordance with established procedures.
o Promote preventive care and health maintenance including annual re-evaluations, positive health behaviors and self-care through both formal and individual education and counseling.
o Prescribe in accordance with approved treatment protocols and the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee approved medications and immunizations.
o Identify a medical problem and determine appropriate action to meet the problem, including referral to a physician.
o Perform specific diagnostic and therapeutic practices and procedures in accordance with scope of practice.
o Medical Procedures: Perform specific diagnostic and therapeutic practices, including:
• Dry needling, acupuncture, and/or trigger point injections.
• Various clinical tests (e.g., pulse oximetry, EKGs, glucose test ordering).
o Emergency Procedures: Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures to provide immediate care during emergencies (e.g., respiratory or cardiac arrest) and respond appropriately to urgent or emergent care situations, initiating interventions as needed and following established protocols for patient care.
• Establish collaborative rapport with physician, nursing and others in order to promote and facilitate primary care services.
• Teach patients and family member's healthy regimen and responsibility for achieving wellness.
• Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement. Participate in the training and orientation of newly assigned personnel and contribute to team discussions during patient care conferences, safety huddles, and professional staff meetings
• Attend the daily clinic safety huddle and monthly flight meetings, where clinic information will be disseminated.
• Clearly communicate findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to other health personnel, both orally and in written documentation. Effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of individuals in a professional manner.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Advise operations on environmental regulatory requirements and provide technical support as needed, keeping current with all Federal, State, and Local environmental legal requirements and monitoring developments and changes.
- Willingness to be an integral team member with local leadership and operational staff is a must.
- Keeps current and familiar with the operating status of assigned sites, anticipating and resolving potential or actual environmental compliance issues.
- Supports Operations Management at the local level in developing strategic prospects for the acquisition of new sites and aggregate reserve prospects.
- Evaluate permitting needs and manage procurement of permits with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Developing positive relationships with regulatory bodies is a must.
- Responsible for conducting audits and evaluations of environmental compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- May participate in Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), state environmental agencies, and local government inspections. Coordinates preparation of responses to agency inspection reports.
- Participates in projects with cross-functional teams to address business opportunities or challenges.
- Knowledge of Title V Air Permitting is preferred. General Air Permitting and Storm Water Permitting Programs is a must.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree or 7-10 years of equivalent experience.
Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Environmental Engineering or related science and technical discipline
Required Work Experience: 5-10 years of experience
Required Training/Certifications: Formal leadership training, team building, continuous improvements, and related fields is preferred.
Licenses Preferred: Professional Engineering License a plus
Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and various other programs
Travel Requirements: 20% with regional business
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of EPA/State/County Air Permitting and Storm Water Programs preferred
- Experience with Environmental Due Diligence and auditing.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to successfully manage simultaneous projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Comfort and solid familiarity with public relations, public presentations, and communications with government and community members.

- Responsible for safety and housekeeping as it pertains to projects
- Prepare engineering scope of works for plant projects
- Interface with contractors utilized in project work; including the coordination of quotes, selection and field direction
- Prepare cost estimates and justifications for the capital plan and control capital spending
- Manage costs in accordance with budget
- Oversee preparation and implementation of capital expenditure budget and focus on defined KPIs
- Maintain, organize, prepare, review, and revise drawings as required and obtain certifications of new and modified structures
- Evaluate, design and implement solutions to resolve on-going mechanical maintenance, operation, and technical problems within the plant
- Evaluate professional environmental and safety recommendations and develop engineering solutions to correct deficiencies and ensure that quality and environmental ISO standards are met
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent 4 years of Project Management experience
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelors degree
Field of Study Preferred: Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management
Required Work Experience: 4 years of Project Management experience in paving, road construction, or related field. Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods. Job costing, estimating, forecasting experience a plus.
