The Role
Lumen is the most peered U.S. communications provider with the 2nd largest global fiber backbone with customers in more than 60 countries. Lumen Security defends a signification portion of the global internet backbone as well as critical communications, technology, and security services for millions of customers. We are seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Asset Management Engineer to guide teams of IT and security professionals in building and maintaining the processes and programs required to secure Lumen's services. This position reports directly to the Product & Platform Security leader and will require strong partnerships with global network engineering, software development, operations, infrastructure, privacy, legal, and product management teams.

The Main Responsibilities

Lead security initiatives designed to secure solutions supporting and/or providing customer services

Effectively partner with a diverse highly skilled team of IT and security engineers, architects, and subject matter experts

Work with product owners and development teams to establish complete asset inventories and build in security best practices at the beginning of the product development life cycle

Establish and refine processes and standards for performing security design reviews and regular security assessments (analyze, assess, and remediate) to ensure systems supporting our product lines meet the established software design standards

Implement processes and standards for risk-based analysis and mitigations using threat modeling and related techniques for all in-scope products

Take a leadership role in driving security and privacy/data initiatives and ensure end-state product meets regulatory requirements

Coordinate Security SME support to development teams

Interact directly with the security community regarding vulnerabilities and threats, with focus on areas that may directly impact Lumen's product lines

Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

**Responsibilities:**
**? Project Management**
+ Define and manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource plans.
+ Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, and status reports.
+ Lead cross-functional meetings, standups, and steering committee updates.
+ Track budget, forecast spend, and manage vendor contracts and SOWs.
+ Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and resolve blockers.
**? Product Ownership**
+ Conduct current-state assessments of contract workflows and tools.
+ Define future-state CLM architecture and roadmap aligned with enterprise goals.
+ Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
+ Define KPIs and success metrics for implementation and adoption.
**? Stakeholder Engagement**
+ Partner with legal, sourcing, finance, and IT to gather requirements and validate solutions.
+ Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and change management activities.
+ Ensure alignment across executive sponsors, business owners, and technical teams.
**? Implementation & Governance**
+ Ensure teams are delivering on thier configuration, testing, and deployment of the CLM platform (e.g., Ironclad, Icertis, DocuSign CLM).
+ Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies.
+ Establish governance models for contract templates, workflows, and user roles.
+ Maintain documentation and audit trails for a minimum of two years post-implementation.
**Experience Requirements:**
+ 7+ years of experience in project or product management, preferably in enterprise SaaS or legal tech.
+ Proven track record leading CLM or similar enterprise platform implementations.
+ Strong understanding of contract workflows, compliance, and digital transformation.
+ Familiarity with tools like Ironclad, Icertis, DocuSign CLM, Conga, or Workday Contracts.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.
**Education Requirements:**
+ BS Degree preferred
