BE THE CEO OF YOUR JOB
As the Manager of Tenant Coordination, you are responsible for the support function engaged in the daily Tenant Coordination Department tasks, projects, and work schedules. This position works closely within the Division to manage tasks, details, and reports throughout all regions. The Manager of Tenant Coordination assists with managing the projects financial modeling analysis, budget, schedule updates while utilizing tracking and reporting software tools under direction of VP of Tenant Coordination.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in daily department tasks, projects, and work schedules for the Tenant Coordination Department.
- Champion Company and Department initiatives, best practices and processes aimed at improving effectiveness and efficiency by adopting them into their daily work.
- Focused on current implementation of company initiatives.
- Focused on the company’s division agenda.
- Responsible for examining and evaluating the company’s and TC division process under direction of VP of Tenant Coordination.
- Responsible for solving problems where there are the shortfalls and bottlenecks, what’s working and what’s potentially failing and adjusting project direction to accommodate better efficiencies.
- Create and update schedules and budget for projects within regions they are responsible.
- Oversee the Tenant Coordination functions for buildings that they are assigned.
- Support HCP’s Business Strategy by working closely with all departments to drive value through TA’s, TI’s and VU’s.
- Provide critical investment and estimate recommendations based on accurate market and project feasibility analysis.
- Obtain necessary internal and external approvals for Tenant Coordination projects prior to beginning a project.
- Accountable for implementing and managing development process from conception to completion on
- Manager of Tenant Coordination of all projects within their region.
- Communicate accurate and timely project cost and status information as well as substantial changes to scope or delivery.
- Identify and mitigate Tenant Coordination risk within the portfolio/market.
- Be fully engaged in the resolution of issues that may require VP of Tenant Coordination, SVP of Development.
- Perform quality review of TC’s plans, estimates, self-management, etc. to ensure accuracy and are properly and consistently providing the highest quality work to the Customers.
- As necessary, oversee work with Leasing, Real Estate, Development, Architecture, Construction and Facilities to create property criteria and guidelines for working on an HCP property within region assigned.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience and/or Training
- 3-5 years Experience and understanding of construction mean and methods, conceptual estimating, material and labor costs and use to provide a detailed Project budget, and construction scheduling systems.
- Proven ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects of varying scales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent client-service and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task in a time sensitive environment.
- A high level of professionalism with a customer service attitude.
- Must be a team player, self-motivated and have excellent time management, organizational, problem solving, negotiating and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel as necessary to complete multiple tenant spaces in various locations.
Technology/Equipment
