The **Senior Manager, Project and Construction Management** is responsible for overseeing all of the Energy Services' multi-site and/or complex construction related obligations that typically require the use of multiple project managers and/or construction managers in order to meet the project over site responsibilities of RWE while developing or executing a major project. In addition, this Manager may function as the lead project manager on some key projects in development or construction. Specific responsiblities include but are not limited to the direct over site of company project managers and construction managers. This Manager will also over see development, installation, operations, maintenance and service activities under a matrix management structure. The successful candidate will have ultimate responsibility for managing and arranging all support necessary to successfully accomplish the completion of construction related activities including managing all construction related alliances and subcontractor relationships. The Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that all project and construction managers under his/her direct report or assignment provide timely and accurate preparation and submission of reports and information necessary for effective project management including financial reporting of activities for which the Manager is responsible. The Manager will provide assistance to the Director, Development & Performance Assurance, and the Director, Engineering as requested for audit, proposal and design development support. **Role Responsibilities:**
+ Act as the lead PM on some key projects in construction or development
+ Manage construction, installation, operation, maintenance and service activity support including, but not limited to:

**Job Requirements and Experiences:**
+ Undergraduate engineering or construction related degree preferred. Advanced degree in engineering, construction management, or an MBA and/or professional engineering license a plus
+ Formal Project and Construction Management training and/or Project Management Professional certification preferred
+ General Contractors License preferred
+ Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in managing and implementing MEP construction
+ Minimum of supervising 10 major ($10M or more) or equivalent project experience, preferably including projects for the Federal Government and/or Healthcare
+ Specific experience with building energy systems, including commissioning of HVAC, Central Utilities, and Electrical Systems.Experience in the overall integration of design engineering, construction, start-up/turnover, and subsequent O&M of energy and design-build projects
+ Expertise in codes, permitting and union issues
+ Experience with energy efficiency projects a experience identifying and administering contracts to minority, small business or disadvantaged subcontractors necessary
+ Previous budget/schedule/performance/quality responsibility. MS Project capabilities preferred
+ Sound and proven construction management skills
+ Strong construction-related contract preparation and administration and risk management skills

**Job Summary:**
The Technology Program Management position is required to drive the completion and sustainability of the firms End of Life (EOL) commitments and of EOL Program assessment, remediation, and governance by managing and coordinating necessary work. The high-level responsibilities include managing:
+ Drive EOL Program strategy, governance, and end-to-end processes by creating and leading cross-functional teams as needed to meet program requirements (e.g., Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Lines of Defense, Executive Leadership, Application System Managers, Infrastructure Platform Owners).
+ Execute the organization's objectives and commitments regarding EOL identification and remediation (Regulatory and Audit exams and issues, self-identified issues, information risk control operations, maturity and enhancement initiatives).
+ Drive proactive risk remediation by identifying cost avoidance opportunities.
+ Coordination, management, and escalation of EOL assessment and remediation activities including prioritization and interdependencies among systems, projects, and numerous BAU efforts and initiatives.
+ Validate technical details of EOL remediation plans to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards across the entire application stack, including middleware, operating system, database, network, messaging, virtualization layer and containers.

+ Timely identification of risks and issues and conflict resolution, escalating for timely resolution as necessary.

**Qualifications:**
+ 5 to 6 years' experience working in an enterprise technology environment with a solid understanding of enterprise architectures and application technology components, including middleware, server and desktop operating systems, database, network, messaging, and virtualization layers. Knowledge of container architecture and AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) a plus.
+ 2-3 years' experience working with risk management frameworks (preferably with a financial institution)
+ Experience working in ServiceNow including CMDB, reporting and ServiceNow's HAMPro and SAMPro modules.
+ Strong project management background with ability to drive results in a BAU environment without formal project management structure.

Job responsibilities

  • Support timely and successful delivery of milestones and deliverables for specific program initiatives

In this role you will focus on reviewing issues that are identified by management, second line of defense, and third line of defense. + Review management action plans (MAPs) development to ensure MAPs can address the control deficiencies and symptoms pointed out in the issue including building out a sustainable and repeatable process
+ Validate issues to determine if issues identified by management, Second Line of Defense (SLoD), and Internal Audit /Third Line of Defense (TLoD) are remediated
+ Work with BURMs' teams to ensure new issues and closure issue packages are completed properly prior to being presented at tollgates meetings
+ Engage with key stakeholders, management, BURMs, SLoD, and TLoD to ensure risks are understood across all Lines of Defense (LoDs) and risk treatment is properly identified.
+ Review issue intake submissions for tollgates (review & challenge), prepare issue package (new, closures, risk acceptances), and ensure requirements are met, and that pending items are acted on, completed, and resolved.
+ Assess the scope of exams or findings provided by Second Line of Defense (SLoD), Third Line of Defense (TLoD), or regulatory authority, and identify required resources for remediation.
+ Participate in ongoing meetings to track remediation efforts and other review related activities.
+ Oversee review process, provide updates on the review to senior leadership, and escalate any potential challenges.
+ Review management responses, provide feedback in line with issues management procedures, and participate in close out meetings.
**QUALIFICATIONS**

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
