Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure our printed labels meet the highest industry standards. This role is responsible for inspecting materials, and ensuring final products adhere to customer specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining exceptional product standards.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Product Inspection
Conduct visual and strobe camera inspections for in-process products, and finished labels to ensure company and customer specifications. - Product Handling & Labeling
Oversee the finishing process, ensuring products are properly rolled, stacked, marked, and labeled with roll and core labels. Manage sample saving to support quality tracking and compliance. - Continuous Improvement & Training
Assist in identifying and improving quality control procedures and best practices. Train team members on inspection standards, and process improvements to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or quality-related certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and quality standards
- Experience with measuring tools such as rulers.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and work in a production environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to lift and carry materials or products as needed to support production and quality control processes.

Job Summary: The TPI Inspector is responsible to audit and review specifications of finished trusses and wall panels and ensure compliance to regulate and customer standards. Report variances to relevant staff and prepare necessary documentation for compliance regulations.

- Check quality on roof and floor trusses and wall panels per Truss Plate Industry (TPI), organizational and customer quality control standards.

SUMMARY
The Regulatory Quality Control Team Lead is responsible for the supervision of overall compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Section 1071 of the Dodd-Frank Act, and Flood Regulations from National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). This position involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on regulatory compliance, conducting audits, and providing guidance to internal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Additionally, this position is responsible for meeting completeness, turn time and accuracy requirements per established service level agreements, and may shift resources and responsibilities among tasks to ensure success
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provides leadership for the regulatory quality control program designed to ensure continuous monitoring of loans consistent with established standards.
* Assists in the development and analysis of statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of loans.
* Assists in the development of standard reports on data integrity from the HMDA, Section 1071, and Flood Disaster Protection related to lending and banking regulations.
* Provides leadership regarding HMDA, Section 1071, and Flood Disaster Protection activities to ensure continuous control over operations and production.
* Helps plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
* Assists with the investigation of all internal customer questions and implements procedures for improvement, as needed.
* Meets with the Quality Control Manager, Regulatory Quality Control staff, and the Compliance Team regularly to confirm adherence to regulatory requirements and avoid duplication of efforts in identifying or resolving failure points identified.
* Assists in implementation and maintenance of the Regulatory procedures as needed to ensure compliance with the Bank's philosophy.
* Represents First Interstate Bank in meetings with Internal Customers, Vendors, and Regulatory agencies in a professional and responsible manner.
* Works with various Operations Managers to ensure appropriate technology are in place to accomplish the goals of the organization.
* Works with Operations System Admin to implement new tools or applications in the department.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $53,000 to $82,700 per year in WA and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Additionally, this role is eligible to receive annual discretionary cash bonuses. The Quality Control (QC) Associate I is responsible for supporting the QC laboratory by performing routine analytical testing and assisting with general laboratory operations. Working under the direct supervision of laboratory management, this role includes sample preparation, data recording, and maintaining a clean and compliant laboratory environment. The QC Associate I operates under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and/or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ensures adherence to established procedures, and maintains accurate, timely documentation. This position may also support the optimization and development of analytical methods.
Duties and Responsibilities (Responsibilities include but are not limited to):
- Perform routine QC analytical procedures on raw materials, drug products, and stability samples using established procedures and validated analytical methods.
- Accurately document all experimental procedures, raw data, observations, and results in compliance with cGMP, GLP, and internal SOPs.
- Ensure timely and complete record-keeping in lab notebooks, data records, LIMS, or other tracking systems.
- Receive, log, label, and prepare samples for analysis.
- Maintain sample integrity and traceability throughout sample testing and storage.
- Operate analytical equipment according to internal SOPs; perform and document routine equipment maintenance.
- Prepare solutions, order supplies, and track samples according to internal procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Comply with environmental monitoring requirements and lab safety policies, including proper aseptic handling and personal protective equipment (PPE) use.
- Work effectively within the QC Team, supporting shared goals and timelines. Communicate clearly with team members and QC management regarding status updates, issues, or delays.

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific field.

- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate testing, documentation, and compliance with strict regulatory standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with others across the organization as well as the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, calculating concentrations, dilutions, molarity and basic statistical analysis.
Duties will be performed in normal laboratory and occasionally in BSL2 laboratory.
Travel is not typical for this position.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this individual include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will view a computer monitor for long periods of time.
