A major client of ours has a need for a QC Chemist for their Hauppauge, NY location.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine testing or other analysis in a specific group or department setting.
- Conduct advanced testing and/or critical testing, as required.
- Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testing
- Working knowledge of raw materials testing and release
- Working knowledge of instruments such as Karl Fisher, HPLC, GC, Particle size, ICP
- Lead investigation activities.
- Ensure compliance to all data integrity and cGMP practices, procedures, and expect
- Ensure compliance with all good documentation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA), physical sciences preferred
- Proficiently speak English as a first or second language
- Proficiently communicate and understand (read and write) scientific work in English
- Have excellent organization, learning and teaching skills required to work in teams
- Ability to understand and analyze complex data sets.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and other scientific based software.
- Experience in Inhalation products (MDI) is a plus
- Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times, when required.

**Overview**
**Essential Duties:**
+ Responsible for ensuring improvements in safety, security, quality, productivity, client relationships, and customer service are correctly implemented.
+ Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
+ Ensures compliance with regulations by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
+ Prepares for audit by researching materials, formulating a plan of action, and communicating to stakeholders.
+ Conduct daily on-site, Quality Assurance inspections in compliance with contractual specifications and customer's expectation.
+ Communicates audit progress and findings by preparing reports, providing information in meetings.
+ Provides management reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing management information.
+ Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workers, dispatchers, supervisors, managers, clients, etc.
+ Helps instill a culture of safety, security, and quality and deliver measurable results
+ Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**SALARY: $** 25.88/ **hr.**

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Valid state issued driver's license
+ Some college course work or equivalent experience preferred
+ 2 years customer service experience
+ Aviation experience preferred
+ Must be 18 years of age or older

+ At least one year Guest Experience Ambassador experience, with good work performance, ethics, and attendance
