JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Manually sort recyclable materials such as cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, paper, etc. on a fast-paced moving conveyor. Under general supervision, this position requires manual dexterity with both hands as well as an ability to distinguish various materials within a short period of time, The capability of standing for long periods of time while lifting, bending and turning from side to side repeatedly. The ability to use stairways and work at different platform heights. The ability to learn to separate types of recyclable materials successfully.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to adhere to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise.
- Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
- Maintains a feeling of pride in work; strives to achieve all goals.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent education/experience.
- Must have/maintain a valid driver’s License including reliable transportation.
- Recycling experience a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work Saturdays as required or needed.
- Ability to identify and remove 30-40 items per minute, from moving conveyor lines and place into properly designated receptacle bin.
- Ability to perform daily cleaning (removing wrap-ables ) of equipment’s sorting screens while working in a restricted space area using 5-point harnesses and while using tools such as utility knives, wire cutters etc. for material removal.
- Cell phone usage, i.e. talking, texting, voice mail, email, social media during working hours except for breaks and lunches are prohibited.
- Keep surrounding work area clean and free of trip hazards, to include but not limited to conveyors and sort lines.
- Assist in end of shift clean-up of assigned work areas.
- Assist other co-workers with heavy bulky items as needed.
- Use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (steel toed boots, safety gloves, safety glasses, hard hat and vest).
- Participate in the safety programs and follow all the safety rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management such as traffic control, janitorial duties of bathrooms and offices, garbage disposal and overall outside maintenance cleanup.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The work environment for this position is a typical non-claimant-controlled warehouse environment

We have several types of Quality Control roles available at our Tabler Station Plant.
As a QC Laboratory Analyst, you could work in an analytical or microbiological laboratory environment that stays in sync with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP). The work will require collection, labeling, analysis, and results recording related to raw materials, intermediate products, finished goods, packaging materials and other samples. Tracking, trend analysis, and other Quality Control (QC) related responsibilities will be performed as directed by laboratory systems.
In addition to laboratory testing, QC Analysts may be required to write control documents like Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), deliver training, perform system health assessments, carry out "on the floor" coaching, , facilitate or participate in quality system failure investigations. Maintain cGMP principles and Good Documentation practices.

We do various types of work including performing raw material, finished goods, intermediate, and development sample analysis according to standard analytical procedures. We perform routine instrument maintenance and calibration as needed during analytical work. We conduct limited instrument troubleshooting and problem diagnosis. We use discernment based on knowledge and experience as to the accuracy and reliability of analytical results. You will observe and identify problems with results and report to your supervisor. You will conduct analytical method development work with direct supervision and mentorship from Lab Leadership or other staff members. You may sample and label materials as needed according to written procedures or specific instructions, inspect appearance of raw materials during unloading as needed. Another responsibility will include coordinating the work with the Production Lead on night and weekend shifts to ensure appropriate prioritization of work.
Key Analytical Work: Physical Measurements, Wet Chemistry, Chromatography including using GCs and HPLCs, Compendial Testing
Key Microbiology Work: Traditional Plate Testing, Rapid Micro Screening Technology, MALDI-TOF, Autoclave
Job Qualifications
· Have a 2 year degree (or more) in a Science Field.
· Commensurate experience of 5 years in a QC lab or GMP manufacturing operations will be considered.
Starting Pay / Salary Range: $22.22/hr to $9.66/hr or ~ 55,000/yr to ~73,000/yr (with built in overtime) with the potential opportunity to earn up to 42.08/hr or ~ 103,000/yr (with built in overtime) as you grow in the organization.

As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be using your skills and expertise to ensure that our incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped product fulfill all quality requirements. You'll be responsible for visually inspecting our materials, parts, and products at different stages of production, as well as recording observations and making recommendations for improving processes. You'll inspect for structural flaws, internal defects, or missing welds, and accept, reject, or request rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems. You'll apply our quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection.

**Qualifications You Must Have:**
- Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
-Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
-Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
-Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings
-Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
-Experience with finished goods inspection
-Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES
-Basic understanding of material flow in operations
-Ability to draft work instructions and SOP's
-Experience with Network+, Security+, CCNA and/or A-Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards

+ Lead quality and process improvement-by owning COPQ metrics, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing CAPAs.
+ Implement and manage Quality Data Systems-in MES, including dashboards for real-time monitoring.
+ Oversee Process Engineering and Automation-to drive operational excellence and efficiency.
+ Manage product and process validation-to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
+ Design and sustain process improvements, including documentation, visual controls, and operator training.
+ Lead the Quality Assurance team, including supervisors, technicians, and inspectors.
+ Develop and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring regulatory and company compliance.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally-(R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management) to integrate quality into new products.
+ Drive cost reduction and process standardization-initiatives to minimize variation and boost consistency.
+ Oversee audits, calibration, and measurement systems, and support change management and best practices across sites.
+ A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a similar technical discipline is required

Certain states require pay information to be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $111,000 to $77,000 per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
