ABOUT THE ROLE
Collects samples and performs accurate quality control testing to ensure product quality. Provides verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner. Quality Control Manager II

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Quality Control Manager II plays a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, customer support, and operational excellence across our Ready Mix operations. In addition to overseeing traditional quality control functions, this role partners closely with the Ready Mix Sales Team and Technical Services Department to generate accurate and timely concrete mix design submittals for customers from Pueblo to Fort Collins. The position is also responsible for maintaining the Quadrel Quality Management System, including pricing accuracy, material setup, and the entry of third-party test reports. SAP-related quality maintenance will also be part of the role. Looking ahead, as responsibilities grow, this position may expand to include supervision of a team providing support in these critical functions.

• Responsible for all Mix Design Submittals for all of the Mountain Region for RMX.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Implement and manage the approved Contractor Quality Control and Health and Safety Plans, including responsibility for all required preparatory meetings, initial inspections, and follow-up inspections.
+ Develop an understanding/working knowledge of the company's quality control program, safety program, standards, procedures, codes, etc., required to perform assigned work.
+ Manage, review, comment upon, and control the submittal process.
+ Perform quality control inspections, witness tests to determine acceptability of work, and schedule and coordinate QA inspectors with the Owner's Representative.
+ Assist in maintaining work performance records, inspection records, and other related items; assure correctness of all documents.
+ Assist in preparation/implementation of quality control procedures (e.g., inspection instructions, control measuring, and test equipment).
+ Participate in internal and external quality control and safety audits.
+ Assist in reviewing purchase documents to ensure compliance with quality control requirements.
+ Inspect and inventory material shipments for compliance.
+ Ensure progress by proactively addressing Q.C. issues.
+ Coordinate the project's safety effort and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures included in the Site-Specific Safety Plan.
+ Manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and Perini's safety program.
+ Identify and evaluate hazards, develop activity hazard analyses, and proactively develop solutions for project safety concerns.
+ Coordinate with the Superintendent and monitor the project schedule to adequately plan and schedule safety and quality deliveries, activities, and work prerequisites.
**Qualifications & Experience:**
+ Five (5) or more years of combined construction experience as Project
+ Manager, Superintendent, QC, Safety, Supervision, and/or Management.
+ Experience on at least one project with a value of 25+ million.
+ Minimum two (2) years of experience as a QC Manager.
+ Minimum three (3) years of experience managing or overseeing construction safety.
+ Experience working on Federal Construction Projects, preferably with USACE.
+ USACE CQM certification required.
+ Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 required.
+ Temporary relocation to Burlington, Iowa, required.
+ Four (4) year degree, PE, or EIT a plus.
+ Completed OSHA 30-hour for Construction.
+ Twenty-four (24) hours of documented safety training within the past five years (excluding OSHA 30-Hour).

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with document control and record-keeping.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality Control Associate will support Goodwill’s mission by generating revenue to help people overcome barriers to economic and personal independence through education, training, and job placement programs. The Associate will work in a fast-paced production and team-oriented type of environment and will be responsible for the sorting, tagging, and testing of E-Commerce products prior to its listing and sale on E-Commerce platform. The Quality Control Associate will be responsible for processing items quickly and accurately while adhering to daily goals and quotas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Meets or exceeds minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for assigned duties.
• Identifies quality, high-end donated items that will bring a higher value when sold online such as: collectibles, antiques, jewelry, electronics, apparel and shoes, and other various items.
• Enters products into our E-Commerce platform, identifying and authenticating items as necessary to ensure accurate descriptions. Items may need to be cleaned prior to photo and listing.
• Ensures item tags are professional by checking for correct description, spelling, and using good grammar.
• Duties are completed accurately, safely, and timely to ensure that items are handled appropriately and not damaged throughout the E-Commerce process.
• Promotes and demonstrates positive teamwork and cooperation.
• Adapts and uses technology as it becomes available to operate efficiently. This includes but is not limited to process automation and platform updates and/or changes.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to provide a safe and efficient workflow for employees and customers.
