Job Description
As a Quality Control Technician, you will perform essential testing within a production lab, focusing on wet chemistry testing, gas chromatography (GC) testing, viscosity, and color testing. **Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform layout inspections using surface plates, blocks, parallels, clamps, and precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
+ Conduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process checks, receiving inspections, and final part inspections in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications
+ Interpret complex blueprints, specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements
+ Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming materials; initiate nonconformance reports (NCRs)
+ Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to quality issues
+ Apply acceptance stamps to conforming products and ensure traceability

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures across all manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems (QMS).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma, Lean).
• Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
