Shift: D Shift Tues - Fri 4pm - 2:30am
Pay: $19-$20/hourly
Job Purpose: The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting audits/inspections on inbound Customer deliveries as well as all other internal operational roles within the warehouse. The intent of the role is to identify gaps in compliance to our standards in an effort to promote maximum warehouse efficiencies and an elimination of inbound defects from our Customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs inspection on all inbound deliveries to ensure they are in compliance with RJW standards
- Displays an ability to count and identify labels/markings that would validate accuracy
- Maintains a standard of personal accuracy as Customers will be fined based on data inputs reported
- Maintains confidentiality of Customer and Employee quality performance
- Accurately inputs data to ensure inventory integrity
- Completes necessary documentation (both written and electronic) thoroughly, accurately, and on-time
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations.
- Ability to physically count and validate inventory
- Utilize computer terminal/scan gun accurately to document defects identified
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English.
- Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment (ideally inbound)
- Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.
Education and/or Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Further ability to apply and put that knowledge into action as inspections are performed.
- Ability to read and write emails.
- Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
- Forklift certification a plus.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to determine “root cause” of problem and determine corrective action.
Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite for writing emails and interpreting and/or creating reports.

**Role Overview**
The Quality Control Specialist will oversee and coordinate analytical work occurring at contract organizations including analytical development, in-process analysis, bioassays, and release testing for drug substance and drug product. They will ensure that analytical methods are developed and qualified/validated per cGMP and that all QC activities are conducted in accordance with global regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing supply of product to meet clinical and commercial demand. The QC specialist will support and maintain comparability, stability and method performance trending programs.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Works to guarantee that an appropriate cGMP Quality Management System for internal and external contract manufacturers/laboratories is developed, implemented, and managed in collaboration with Quality Assurance.
+ Reviews QC test results supporting product release and stability testing.
+ Coordinates with QC management to manage external cGMP laboratories by reviewing and approving documents as required, including Specifications, SOPs, protocols, reports, test methods, change requests, technical transfers, data trending, OOS/OOT investigations and deviations related to clinical and commercial requirements.
+ Ensures that critical cGMP release and stability testing is accurate, compliant, and reported to meet timelines.
+ Provides real-time audit support as required to assist the management team with queries.
+ Remains current with USP, EP, BP, JP and ICH requirements, as applicable.
+ Assist with Stability Program QC compliance and ensure the program is established and maintained for all cGMP products.
+ Tracks and trends cGMP test data including performing surveillance of method performance and reference standards, and evaluation of data received from external contract laboratories.
+ Compiles data for internal review meetings, Annual Product Reviews (commercial products), and all other product quality assessments.
+ Supports QC with strategic planning and management of all analytical and bioassay development, qualification, and testing activities in support of clinical and commercial products.
**Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements**
+ BS/BA with a minimum of 4+ years of industry experience, preferably in biology, biochemistry, biopharmaceutical sciences, or other biologic-science related discipline.
+ Minimum 4+ years progressive cGMP quality, testing, scientific, and/or manufacturing experience in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals including biologics(e.g., protein therapeutics).
+ Expertise in chemical, protein, biological and analytical technologies and laboratory operations, including experience on the bench is required. Experience with recombinant form of human factor IX or similar commercial biologics is desired.
+ Working knowledge and ability to apply cGMP in conformance to U.S., EU, ROW and ICH standards
+ Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate testing activities with CMOs or CTOs
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize complex daily workload.

This role will be directly responsible for the daily quality control check and outbound staging of rental equipment in accordance to procedure(s) to ensure integrity is maintained in our reservations and equipment readiness. This position requires teamwork, communication, and technical skills.
This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of McCook, IL.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Process daily intake and quality checks of assigned equipment
+ Prioritize workload based on outbound equipment needs
+ Stage outbound equipment
+ Assist in the maintenance of assigned stock of parts, accessories and ancillaries required to return equipment to a rentable state
+ Maintain the physical appearance and functional form of assigned area
+ Perform basic equipment repair and troubleshooting
+ Collaborate and accelerate innovations in QC tooling, practices and execution
+ Assist in training/development of warehouse staff
+ Ensure sound safety and risk policies and procedures through assigned areas
+ Promote teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations
+ Assists other departments as needed
+ Performs other duties as assigned
**Education & Experience**
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
+ Minimum 2 years of related experience within event production and/or warehouse operations

+ Analyze transportation documents (commercial invoice, SLI, etc.) for accuracy & identification of customs entries requiring correction
+ Utilize carrier systems to research shipments & partner with the necessary stakeholders to correct errors
+ Communicate clearly & effectively with transportation carriers to dispute charges and resolve discrepancies of inaccurate customs entries
+ Maintain accurate and detailed records of discrepancies & dispute for cost-recovery tracking & visibility
+ Responsible for approving and disputing invoices.
+ Experience in imports is a plus.
+ Handle over 100 customs entries. Data entry experience is essential.

ResponsibilitiesOperating Zeiss CMM's (training provided) to inspect CNC production parts
Complete FAIR's (First Article Inspections Reports) and update ProShop
Complete inspection reports in-process checks, and final inspections
Use metrology measuring gauge tools and equipment includingcalipers, micrometers, height gage, indicator, gage pins, thread gages
Create non-conformance records (NCR) for rejected parts
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and standards
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- U.S. citizen or green card holder, we are an ITAR facility
- Commute and work 1st shift (6:30am - 3:00pm)
