We are seeking a Quality Control Manager for a site in Covington, GA that will provide Quality Management (QM) related services. In this role, you will be involved in daily operations to plan and execute QM operations; also, in resolving complex issues to meet QM expectations while staying on schedule and within budget. As the QA/QC Manager, you will frequently be working with the construction crews on the assigned job site(s). You will be a main point of contact with internal and external individuals at all management levels, and you will be responsible for project QM successful outcomes.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
- Manage inspector resources including third party and direct-hire quality inspectors.
- Provide overall project-wide oversight on quality and requirements compliance matters on QA/QC functions. Monitor construction activities and review materials and equipment delivered to the project for adherence to specifications, coordinating lists, punch list items, observations and logs.
- Manage company risk and understand all aspects of contract documents.
- Manage code related welding projects.
- Work with preconstruction, field supervision and other teams to ensure the project is set up to support the quality management needs of the program.
- Establishes metrics to identify trends for inspections, non-conformances root causes and corrective/preventive actions at minimum.
- Ensure that Quality is maintained on site in relation to all aspects of the project.
- Responsible for recognizing and implementing change orders as it relates to quality.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, technicians, managers, and other project stakeholders to achieve project objectives, work with and support engineers, technicians, and other project managers across multiple disciplines.

- This an individual contribution role. The incumbent will be responsible for communicating with internal employee as well as third party companies and the IT team at EMCOR.

**Responsibilities:**
Hands-on completion of laboratory analysis of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and final batch samples in support of a manufacturing and technology and innovation (R&D Environment). Operation of injection molding equipment to prepare test specimens. Other duties as assigned. This position is responsible for reading and complying with the Company's Environmental and Quality Policies. This position is also responsible for reporting to management deviations from the policy when they are observed.
- The candidate must achieve an acceptable score on a basic math test that includes calculating percentages, averages, unit conversions and performing rounding.
- The candidate must demonstrate minimum color aptitude by scoring a 50 or lower using the Farnsworth-Munsell Hue Test. Laboratory Management will also assess results screening for color deficiencies as outlined in the FM-100 test method. Candidates may be permitted one re-test.

This role involves conducting tests in accordance with internal SOPs and FDA/GMP requirements, performing routine quality control activities, and maintaining detailed records of observations and measurements. + Perform instrumental analyses as needed using HPLC, GC, or TOC.
+ Complete all paperwork, record keeping, and posting associated with approving and releasing batches.
+ Evaluate data for trends and author standard operating procedures and microbiological test methods.
+ Approve tankers for loading and unloading, recording information and testing results.
+ Test products based on customer complaints or returns, and retest returned goods for release or rejection as authorized.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Perform routine testing on production batches and finished goods, following FDA/GMP standards and internal SOPs.
+ Use lab techniques such as HPLC, GC, TLC, wet chemistry to analyze product quality.
+ Record and interpret test results, spot trends, and help guide product adjustments.
+ Support inspections of raw materials and environmental monitoring.
+ Keep lab equipment calibrated and the workspace clean and organized.
+ Collaborate across shifts to ensure smooth communication and consistency.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science field with strong chemistry coursework. (Required)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Oversee all incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection and testing activities.
- Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address deviations.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for product defects and non-conformances, implementing effective solutions.
- Develop and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of all quality control equipment.
- Train and mentor quality control personnel, fostering a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with R&D and Engineering to define product specifications, testing protocols, and acceptance criteria.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters, including complaint resolution and supplier qualification.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable industry regulations and safety standards.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, report findings to management, and recommend strategic improvements.
- Oversee documentation control and record-keeping for all quality-related activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field), or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing QMS, preferably with ISO 9001 certification.
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma methodologies, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Experience with various inspection tools and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site responsibilities with potential remote collaboration.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements pertinent to the industry is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt) are highly desirable.
