**The candidate will work closely with the operations department to ensure all products being manufactured will meet customer expectations and all customer requirements. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting products and materials to ensure they are free from defects or deviations from customer specifications.**
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure all quality documentation is filled out as required
· Conduct and document quality inspections of in-process and finished goods to ensure quality conforms to specified requirements (dimensionally, visually, in-process, etc.)
· Ensure parts are being manufactured in accordance with the company's Quality Management System
· Provide immediate feedback on Quality of parts to QC Manager and Operations
· Ensure all parts are inspected, documented, and put in the proper location in a timely manner
· Ensure calibrations are completed on time and documented
· Initiate and follow up of Nonconformances as required
· Report all unusual conditions or results, unsafe conditions, broken or out of calibration equipment, procedures not in effect to Quality Management
· Maintain a clean work environment to eliminate potential product contamination
· The ability to implement and follow inspection processes
· Suggest improvements in workflow and equipment to make inspection more efficient and effective
· Adept at using inspection & test equipment, calipers, optical microscopes, micrometers, pin gauges and etc.

Responsibilities
+ Conduct routine and non-routine chemistry and microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process formulations, and final products.
+ Utilize and operate laboratory equipment and instruments according to laboratory procedures, including pH, conductivity, UV, KF, FTIR, and titrations.
+ Understand and follow Quality Control test methods or compendia methods (USP, EP, BP, JP, or ACS) and EXCIPACT standards.
+ Calculate and generate data for compliance to specifications and report results.
+ Perform technical review of lab data forms, such as water, environmental monitoring, and direct measure analysis.
+ Calibrate and maintain lab equipment.
+ Enter final results and raw data for tested materials or products in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as needed.
+ Perform investigative analysis to support investigations, complaints, or instrument troubleshooting.
+ Conduct Environmental Monitoring duties, which require gowning into cleanroom and collecting air and surface samples.
+ Review for discrepancies in data, manufacture COA, COC, and perform data verification in accordance with company procedures.
+ Apply appropriate disposition labels to materials (accepted, rejected, etc.).
+ Handle hazardous materials using all appropriate or mandatory safety PPE and safety equipment.
+ Complete documentation in a legible manner and review for accuracy.
+ Perform sampling and testing for USP Purified water and Water for Injection.

Zircoa is looking for a Quality Inspector to perform the following duties including but not limited to: Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates. * Loads and unloads tunnel kiln cars and provides consistent maintenance of the klin cars. * Must be able to determine whether any and all ware is good or reject by using plug gauges, calipers, rulers, taper gauges, feeler gauges, Hole-a-matic, micrometers, scales, go-no-go gauges, flat plates, C gauges, wall thickness gauge, bow gauges, computers, pin gauges, bottom thickness gauges, hole template and snap gauges. Need to be able to find computer generated prints. Must be able to understand and interpret inspection documents. * If ware is reject, must know how to disposition it. Reject ware can be reclaimed and crushed with hammer, disposed of into trash hopper, or set aside for further review. * Prepares acceptable ware for shipment - including scrubbing vacuuming, labeling, wrapping, bagging and boxing. * Must know how to properly pack and label all acceptable ware, over 2,500 different pieces including over 40 different boxes, dividers, pads and inserts. Must also use foam, banding machine, shrink wrapper, bubble wrap, vacuum trays, noodles, ties, bags, foam inserts, desiccant, shrink wrap, end caps, labels, stamps, staplers and stitcher. Help to develop new packaging methods to meet customer's needs. * Re-inspection, re-packing of ware when internal or external CARS are involved, and combining of partials boxes. * Responsible for maintaining foamed, stitcher and changing propane tanks and batteries on tow motors used in the Inspection Department. * Need to use tow motors, pneumatic barrel mover and strong-arm to move ware. * Manually move up to 17,000 pounds in one shift. * Input all transactions into appropriate system, understand QC samples and be able to audit. * Responsible for ordering cardboard and necessary supplies, collect and calibrate all gauges as necessary or according to schedule. * Need to use computers, printers, and general office equipment. * Fill in or assist shippers as necessary. * Dye check fine grain parts. * Use Bridgeport to smooth brinks. * Transfers ware from Packing Area to Shipping and insures ware has met all quality, labeling, and packaging requirements prior to transfer and once received in Shipping. Responsible for verifying and submits samples to QC as necessary and for approval. Also responsible for updating and verifying certification requirements. * Verifies and corrects work order reporting and responsible for closing work orders. * Monitors shipment manifest and prioritizes work for Packer/Inspector/Loaders. Audits all Course Grain certifications before sending to QC. Communicates and works with Planning and Customer Service to achieve 100% on-time shipments.
