**Responsibilities**
+ Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Control (QC) Plan, ensuring all practices align with federal regulations and contract standards.
+ Apply a deep understanding of federal policies and frameworks-such as FIS and OPM guidelines-to guide quality control practices, particularly for background investigations.
+ Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with all applicable federal quality standards, contractual obligations, and agency-specific policies.
+ Utilize established quality control frameworks (e.g., ISO methodologies) to design and enforce effective inspection, testing, and audit processes.
+ Monitor and analyze performance data to identify quality trends, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions.

**Qualifications**
+ Active Top Secret security clearance.
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
+ Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in quality control management.
+ Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma certified
+ Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a federally regulated or background investigation environment.
+ Strong knowledge of federal quality standards and compliance procedures, including FIS and OPM investigation policies.
+ Familiarity with ISO standards or similar quality frameworks and tools.
+ Ability to report onsite daily to the customer's site in Boyers, PA.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Technical Skills:

• 3-5 years of CMM programming experience (Mitutoyo CMMs & MCOSMOS preferred).
• Experience with contracers and related software.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and inspection specifications.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement methods and procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation by creating gauging systems or adapting existing inspection equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections of various tools, gauges, fixtures, and components, including complex and intricate parts, to assess workmanship accuracy and functional performance.
• Set up, program and utilize various precision measuring devices and instruments for meticulous checking and adjustment of tools and gauges.
• Determine appropriate inspection methods and program when warranted, perform complex setups, and conduct first article inspections to ensure product quality.
• Program when warranted, operate the CMM to inspect first articles, regular production components, and reworked machined items, receiving inspections ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Verify finished products against internal and customer specifications, ensuring compliance with technical drawings and requirements.
• Assist engineering teams with CMM programing and CMM program editing, to accommodate specific engineering needs.
• Perform periodic maintenance and calibration of metrology equipment.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to use a computer or tablet
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Regulatory cGMP manufacturing experience
• Experience with ERP / MRP Systems

**Job Title:** Quality Control Inspector

**Prepared By:** Corporate Human Resources
**Summary** Inspect parts, products and/or processes to insure conformance with standards. Inspects materials or products using fixed or variable measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and defects. Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly. Verifies specified dimensions on product or material by performing the following duties.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Coordinates with engineering, sales and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
+ Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strives to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
+ Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
