Responsible for quality control on USACE contract. Shall establish and maintain an effective quality control system for the construction site. The quality control system shall consist of plans, procedures, and organization necessary to produce an end product that complies with the contract requirements. Responsibility for the overall management of Contractor Quality Control with full authority to stop work until corrections are made.

**Job Description**
Essential Responsibilities:
+ The Contractor Quality Control manager (CQC) shall be responsible for certifying that all submittals are in compliance with the contract requirements.
+ Produce and maintain the Job Site Quality Control Plan, in the preparatory phase and the execution of the works
+ Maintain current records of quality control operations, activities, and tests performed, including the work of subcontractors and suppliers.
+ Produce Daily construction quality control report.
+ Maintain deficiencies list.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
+ Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Hydro Power or 10 years in Construction.
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Fluent in English (Written and spoken).
+ Proficient in using MS Excel.
+ Be a problem solver
+ Have a high level of rigor.
+ The position is based in US Pacific Northwest area (Washington state) and requires daily presence on Site.

Responsible for quality control on USACE contract. Shall establish and maintain an effective quality control system for the construction site. The quality control system shall consist of plans, procedures, and organization necessary to produce an end product that complies with the contract requirements. Responsibility for the overall management of Contractor Quality Control with full authority to stop work until corrections are made.
This will be an on-site Project Position with relocation Provided.
**Job Description**
Essential Responsibilities:
+ The Contractor Quality Control manager (CQC) shall be responsible for certifying that all submittals are in compliance with the contract requirements.
+ Produce and maintain the Job Site Quality Control Plan, in the preparatory phase and the execution of the works
+ Maintain current records of quality control operations, activities, and tests performed, including the work of subcontractors and suppliers.
+ Produce Daily construction quality control report.
+ Maintain deficiencies list.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
+ Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Hydro Power or 10 years in Construction.
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Fluent in English (Written and spoken).
+ Proficient in using MS Excel.
+ Be a problem solver
+ Have a high level of rigor.
+ The position is based in US Pacific Northwest area (Washington state) and requires daily presence on Site.
+ The position is for a long term project (multiple years)
+ Must be familiar with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) rules on Construction sites
+ Completed or be able to complete course ''Construction Quality Management for Contractor'' provided by the US Army Corps of Engineers
+ Experience working on US Government project is an asset.
The salary range for this position is 87,000.00 - 116,000.00 /year. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
