**What you will do:**
The Quality Analyst reports to the Quality Manager under general supervision, and is responsible for analyzing warranty batteries, determining failure modes and communicating through RBR paper work to customer service.
**How you will do it:**
+ Unload RBR Warranty Pallet Trailers, Teardown and Analysis of Warranty Batteries and (HRF) High Rate Failures then wrapping them and loading to a Core Trailer to be sent to the Smelter.
+ Inspection of internal components and record the reason for failure, the condition of each component and the type of component.
+ Analyze components according to established quality control procedures.
+ Inspect battery exterior for any physical condition, customer and manufacturer identification, deciphers date codes and records information.
+ Determine serviceable condition of battery without teardown using a load tester or charge acceptance test with cadmium probe readings.
+ Teardown and Analysis of Scrap Batteries and update the tracking system.
+ Analyze Claim batteries and put the report together to customer service.
+ Involve in process engineering and production supervision as necessary to identify and correct the cause and to eliminate or minimize future occurrences.

An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $1.00 - 24.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

**Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, such as:**

**Knowledge, Skills Requirements:**
+ Associate degree in quality or equivalent work experience (Technical degree preferred)
+ 2 + years of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing Quality support.
+ 2 years of experience in Quality Control or similar role (preferred)
+ Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints with strong attention to detail.
+ Skill in operating inspection and laboratory equipment (e.g., Micrometers, Calipers Indicators, Multimeters)
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and database management software.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and quality improvement.
+ Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds during inspections or production support.

**Job Summary:**

+ Perform a wide variety of activities to support the Quality Management System.

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct product testing, including testing to support complaint investigations and stability verification
+ Generate product testing results reports
+ Review production batch records (DHR's) for accuracy and completeness in order to approve intermediate products for use in production.
+ Review finished goods batch records.
+ Report all deviations in these records and assures these have been addressed and resolved prior to issuing approval.
+ Conduct spot-check inspections/audits of production operations
+ Participate in the internal audit program
+ Write, review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary
+ May assist in supporting the Document Control program, record retention areas, and sample retention areas
+ May support returned instrument processing
+ Log returned instruments from the field.
+ Decontaminate returned instruments in a Biohazard level II environment following standard operating procedure and documenting decontamination as required.
+ Inspect returned instruments for damage, and performing basic investigation and documenting results prior to second level processing.
+ As necessary, process instrument documentation for return to repair facility, and pack instruments as required.
**Education and/or Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical area or equivalent combination of experience and education.
+ At least one year in quality assurance role in medical device industry is preferred.
**Other Skills and Abilities:**
+ Ability to follow procedures and accurately document results.
+ Ability to use bleach for cleaning purposes is required.
+ To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
+ While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk.

**JOB SUMMARY**
The Manager, Quality Control is responsible for leading/managing the Quality Control Team to maintain the quality of the inbound and existing products on a daily basis, identify and communicate quality issues to the Buyers, Receivers, and Management as needed to resolve quality issues.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
+ Manages the employees and process for conducting daily walk-through of assigned coolers to check the quality of the product and identify any quality issues
+ Responsible for proper product rotation by date
+ Assure that all inventories are properly blocked throughout the day
+ Manage the proper labeling of all inventories.
+ Responsible for allergen products being properly segregated
+ Communicate quality issues with external agencies and internally with Buyers, Receivers and management as needed to resolve quality issues
+ Notify Manager, Day Warehouse of any shortage, and damage of product or poor quality product
+ Report all lost product or transfers to Manager, Inventory
+ Manage the quality of all existing merchandise, remove any distressed product, and determine what product needs reworking and what product should be discarded
+ Hire, review, coach and develop direct and indirect reports as it relates to Quality Control policies and procedures
+ Evaluate QC Inspectors' performance and complete employee evaluations in a timely manner
+ The review team's CMP's regularly to ensure they are on track to meet their goals
+ Ensure the preferred work methods are followed to maintain a safe work environment
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
High school diploma or equivalent. (Bachelor's degree preferred.)
**Experience**
Three (3) years operations/warehouse experience in shipping and receiving the perishable product, and/or a combination of educations, and industry experience
**Fruit Ripening experience preferred**
**Skills**
+ Ability to manage and motivate hourly employees
+ Ability to solve problems independently and effectively articulate and communicate information
+ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
+ Experience using powered equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack)
**Decision Making Authority**
Most important decisions made fully independently:
Scheduling QA personnel, the quality level of product, disposal of expired product
Most important decisions made with review and approval of other individuals or supervisors (include the reviews/approvals required):
The discipline of QA personnel, Hiring needs, and Policy implementation.
