**Education/Experience:**

**Responsibilities:**
- Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for optimizing production manufacturing processes through developing, planning, and implementing improvements that positively impact safety, quality, labor, and delivery utilizing engineering principles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production line technical support
• Provide necessary tooling, routers, labor standards, raw material structure, make vs. buy analysis, process instructions, and technical support for the timely implementation of engineering changes
• Accountable for achieving goals and objectives for the Mfg Engineering group and Operations organization.
• Utilize PLM system including reviewing product design changes and assess manufacturing impact
• Recognize labor impact with process/design changes and implement plans with little impact to Mfg departments.
• Develop business cases, write AFEs for funding procurement
• Develop process changes/improvements using SPC, PFMEA, and control plans
• Utilize root cause analysis methodology to solving manufacturing issues
• Will be working within an ISO 9000 quality system and produce documentation acceptable to the customer
• Document and report work activity
• Document and report work activity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Balanced, dynamic, methodical approach; good work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct
• Must demonstrate positive attitude; foster teamwork; responsive to customer/Mfg issues

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from Accredited University required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing, automotive preferred
• Past experience in Production Supervision a plus
• Must possess excellent planning and organization skills
• Competent user of MS Office products
