We are seeking a talented and dynamic Digital Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 Specialist to join our team. The Implementation Engineers Industry 4.0 team will conduct analysis of client's operational processes, identify gaps, propose solutions, and manage implementation of those initiatives. As a key player in our digital transformation journey, you will be responsible for identifying, designing, and building digital solutions for our clients. These digital solutions can range from visualization tools providing status into shop floor operations to advanced automation and connected worked applications.
The successful candidate will support project teams to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements for digital solutions.
- Identify appropriate Industry 4.0 technologies to solve client problems and build executable implementation plans.
- Design, develop, and implement interactive and insightful digital dashboards using Power BI.
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and relevance in data solutions.
- Contribute to the creation of a digital tool aimed at visualizing, monitoring, and optimizing work in process in production.
- Work closely with the IT and production teams to identify key metrics and requirements for the digital tool.
- Provide training and support to the client to maximize the utilization and understanding of the digital solutions implemented.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices related to Industry 4.0 while actively seeking opportunities to enhance and optimize existing solutions and offerings.
- BS degree in Industrial Engineering or similar technical discipline (Controls, Manufacturing, or Operations)
- 2-5 years' experience in years in complex manufacturing, production or similar (e.g. fabrication + assembly)
- Must have a proven history of Power BI development and implementation experience.
- Understanding of lean production systems and management operating systems (tiered meeting structure, production KPIs, etc), a plus.
- Experience deploying solutions to collect production data to drive operations improvement.
- Experience with low code shop floor application development (Tulip, etc.)
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies - Smart Factory, Digital Manufacturing, IIoT, Factory 4.0.

How Will You Impact WestRock company:
* Use the Work Order as a guide to individual job requirements and specifications.
* Set-up line or assist with line set-up as needed, using the line diagram.
* Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reconciliation of customer product and components, assuring that both are correct and properly placed on the line; kept in good supply as needed for the completion of the shift's production and the start of the next shift, if applicable.

* Oversee and monitor production flow on the line, trouble shoot problems, make equipment adjustments as needed, recommend and institute line improvements, and direct temporary staff labor issues to Assembly Supervisor.
* Motivate temporary staffing service employees in order to maintain maximum production line efficiency and meet production goals.

Role Description We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our Advisory team as the Industry Advisor Director for Manufacturing. In this role, you will collaborate with customers and a number of cross-functional groups within Salesforce. Your responsibilities will include developing a strong point of view, supporting strategy for manufacturing, staying abreast of industry trends, and identifying the best opportunities for Salesforce growth in the industry. Additionally, you will engage with customers, collaborate with field leadership teams on strategic customer engagements, approaches, industry events, and localized initiatives. As an advisor to C-level executives at customers, your role will involve ensuring that we effectively listen to the voice of the customer and build lasting partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple roles within manufacturing. Specifically experience in customer experience, commercial excellence, channel management, service, field service, aftermarket programs, assets and artificial intelligence would be desired. Furthermore, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of industry trends and how they impact customers. Familiarity with Salesforce's solutions and capabilities in the manufacturing market is crucial. Excellent presentation skills are desired as you will be the face of the industry and the face of Salesforce working with a number of key customer stakeholders. You will work cross-functionally with a number of internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product, solution engineering, enterprise architecture, sales programs, enablement and others.
