Position Overview:

The Industrial Insulator/Metal Mechanic is responsible for the installation of insulation and metal coverings. The MM is also tasked with following all safety rules set forth by ISO Services. The MM should be knowledgeable in all aspects of insulation and be willing to help in other areas of the shop when needed.

Applicable Experience & Competencies :
  • Must have the endurance, strength and skill to install insulation and sheet metal covering - for example, employees must be capable of installing pipe insulation and metal coverings from ladders, scaffolding and pipe racks
  • Must have the flexibility to work from ground level all the way to overhead work
  • Must have the ability to climb ladders and work from ladders, scaffolding, suspended scaffolding, pipe racks, and manlifts
  • Must demonstrate techniques in both hot and cold insulation applications
  • Must demonstrate techniques in removeable blanket measurement and construction
  • Must demonstrate the installation techniques for insulation and metal covering for tees, elbows, valves, pumps, horizontal and vertical vessels, vessel heads and also brushed and troweled material
  • Multi-tasking - Must be open to additional responsibilities in other craft areas
  • Must take initiative to learn methods for insulating large tanks
  • Must be reliable and have a positive attitude

Physical Requirements :
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in the summer and winter for a full 10-12 hour shift, as schedule demands

  • Must be able to pass a physical examination (including a pulmonary test)
  • Must be willing to travel

Job Description Summary:

Krystal Biotech, Inc is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Support Technician to support a new state-of-the-art GMP facility in Moon Township.  The Technician will work closely with the manufacturing team to uphold cleanroom standards, follow strict procedures, and contribute to the smooth operation of all manufacturing processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of equipment and manufacturing areas before and after production runs
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure that facilities are prepared and ready for production activities as per schedule
  • Execute and maintain strict cleaning and sanitization protocols in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Conduct routine inspections of cleanrooms to identify any cleanliness or contamination issues, promptly reporting and addressing them according to established procedures
  • Follow and document all procedures, including batch records, cleaning logs, and any other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner

  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Assist with movement of materials; work with EHS/Materials Teams for collection and dispensing of biohazardous waste
  • Support a standard 40-hour work week with flexibility to support occasional off-shift hours and/or weekends
  • Perform other tasks, as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical or vocational training in biopharma manufacturing, cleanroom operations, or related fields is a plus
  • In lieu of direct experience, bachelor’s degrees in applicable fields such as life sciences or engineering will be considered
  • Experience with sanitization, aseptic technique and/or sterile processes in a regulated setting (GMP, ISO) is highly

ATI is currently seeking a Production Worker for our Superalloy department in the Oakdale, PA facility. In this position, you will play a valuable role in manufacturing alloys, ensuring our products and materials meet customer expectations.

As a Production Worker, you will perform powder processing procedures including: can preparation, rosheen work, screening powder, blending powder, loading containers, operating outgas and vacuum systems, as well as other tasks. A successful candidate should demonstrate an eagerness to learn, showing initiative, commitment to teamwork, and attention to detail.

This is a swing shift position where you will work 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, alternating weekly.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Tape test cleaned equipment, containers, and clean rooms
  • Screen powder to the required size
  • Provide quality control, process engineering, and customer samples
  • Transfer, blend, subdivide, store powder, and perform magnetic separation of powder
  • Purge all containers and evaluate purges for load approval. Load containers with powder and condition for outgas HIP or shipment
  • Load and operate outgas furnace(s) and vacuum systems. Crimp outgassed parts and condition as required
  • Cut/mark stems, remove fixturing, and process paperwork for HIP parts
  • Prepare parts for stem welding & grind stems after weld; Leak-check welded containers
  • Maintain proper concentration of rosheen solutions; Degrease, grind, debur and clean parts and fixtures
  • Remove/install clean room filters, loaders, and screeners. Requalify equipment and powder containers for each alloy and mesh
  • Maintain inventory for supplies, equipment, and spare parts

• Responsible for ISO certifications documentation, overseeing procedure updates and ensuring accurate records. Educates and instructs plant personnel in quality assurance procedures, and ensure adherence through an extensive audit program.
• Ensure operation of all Laboratory measuring and data collection equipment through calibration/preventive maintenance program and in-house repair/replacement. Able to perform all lab duties; functions as back-up for lab technician.
• Assist in the development and implementation of special projects, working in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
• Monitor customer websites (WISPER) and drive customer satisfaction through proactive visits. Coordinate and conduct compliance audits for local Quality Management System and perform necessary actions to meet or exceed target level of EQS Implementation.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 1 year of quality or engineering work experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in science or engineering from an accredited institution.
Three (3) years of experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment
Experience with international quality standards, lean manufacturing, statistical methods, blueprint reading and continuous improvement tools such as FMEA, DOE.
ASQ certifications
Experience with MFGPro
Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification
Skills:
Position Criteria:

Knowledge or training in Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Design Of Experiments, and/or Statistical Process Control.
Proven project management, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Position will require excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills to lead and train diverse teams.
