**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Accept or reject product, materials, or articles; identify and document nonconformance to engineering, specifications, & standards and notify appropriate personnel of potential rejection of items.
+ Report discrepancies to Supervision and Management.
+ Document inspection results of multiple product lines through the completion of reports and logs.
+ Perform mathematical functions for weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements.
+ Ensure measurement equipment is well maintained and operating accurately.
+ Perform visual inspection, continuity and/or resistance testing on various cables, harnesses, and connectors.
+ Measure machined products utilizing comparators, calipers, micrometers, visual measurement devices, pin gauges, etc.
+ Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
+ Track/record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats.
+ Accurately record product information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and other statistics into computer databases to comply with company requirements.
**Qualifications / Requirements**
+ Must have keen attention to detail and quality.
+ Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, except under abnormal circumstances.
+ Must be proficient with data entry, and the use of computer resources.
+ Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions and interpret drawings, schematics, specifications, and standards.
+ **IPC Certification to standard 620 and/or J-STD-001.**
+ Ability to accurately use required measuring tools (ring gauge, pin gauge, micrometer, etc.) and perform basic mathematical functions.

This position is responsible for assembling electrical and fiber optic jumper and cable assemblies utilizing various mechanical and hand tools.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Measure, cut, prepare rubber hose, cable, wire for termination
+ Pull wire through hose ID and any attached hardware prior to soldering
+ Terminate hose and cable assemblies with machined hardware per procedure
+ Stretch jumper assemblies utilizing a forklift and load meter
+ Accurately report labor hours for each order
+ Ability to troubleshoot issues with little to no engineering support

JOB SUMMARY : Perform repetitive work to inspect, buff, repair, build, heat, seal tires through operating machines to re-build tires from rubber components.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Inspect worn tires for faults, cracks, cuts and nail holes, and to determine if tires are suitable for retreading.
  • Operates a buffing machine to remove treads from tires to be retreaded, following specifications for depth and width removal.
  • Measures diameter and cross section to determine correct tread width.
  • Build semi-raw rubber treads onto buffed tire casings in order to prepare tires for vulcanization in recapping and retreading processes.
  • Places tire in chamber and programs correct curing temperature according to specification.
  • Inspects tires to determine defects in curing, (soft cures, ply separation, repairs missed, etc.).
  • Trims and paints finished retread.
  • Repairs tires found defective during the process.
  • Makes final inspection of repair, cuts tread design with re-grooving iron, paints tire and places in finished stock.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Maintains a stock of tread rubber and repair materials, advising manager when replenishment is necessary.
  • Ability and flexibility to perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.
**_Job Description_**
The primary purpose of this position is to set-up, maintain, operate, test and inspect product, and perform repairs on associated departmental equipment in conformance to FDA, GMP's, ISO 13485 standards and finished product specifications. Minimize scrap generation from processes and promote workplace safety. Provide process information to management so production equipment may be optimized and/or process corrected. Assist with training of personnel to perform various functions within each assigned area. Facilitate work flow and ensure product quality is maintained.
**_Shift Details_**
+ 7:00 am to 3:30 pm - Monday through Friday
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
+ Adhere to plant policies/procedures, department EHS rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), ISO 13485 regulations and Good Housekeeping procedures. Shall operate in a manner that protects the health and safety of its employees/visitors and operate in a manner that conserves energy, natural resources and protects the environment.
+ Complete all pertinent paperwork pertaining to the finished product being produced according to established guidelines in the manufacturing procedures.
+ Prepare and maintain required maintenance equipment records. Use of micrometers, dial calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to perform dimensional and physical inspections. Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
+ Uses ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 sampling standard, part drawings, and specifications to determine inspection and testing required as well as acceptable quality levels.
+ Selects products for inspection evaluation at specified stages in production process, performs various visual, dimensional, performance, mechanical, electrical, or chemical inspections per required characteristics.
+ Report any unusual circumstances to supervisor and perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
+ Basic computer skills with windows based programs.
+ Responsible for the observation of department regulations and to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required; must be safety conscious and Lockout/Tag-out trained.
+ Transport hazardous waste to accumulation areas. Complete Annual Hazardous Waste (RCRA) refresher training.
+ Cross-train and support where needed throughout the facility.
**_Qualifications_**
+ High School Diploma or GED preferred. One year certificate from college or technical school (machinist, engineering technology); or equivalent combination of training and experience.
+ 3-4 years medical device manufacturing related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.

**_Department Specific Functions_**
+ Setup various production machines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and product specifications utilizing small hand tools, i.e. wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, drills and channel locks.
+ Monitor machinery and process goals during shift and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimum performance of processes.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunction and either repair equipment or arrange for technical support to complete repairs.
