The Production Technician - Assembly is responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions. This role ensures quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the assembly process while supporting production goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble parts, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.

**Production Technician- Nights**
The Production Technician I is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to maximize production and maintain KDP's high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in supporting improvements to the manufacturing process in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, productivity and growth.
**Shift and Schedule:**
This is a full time position located in Essex, VT working 12 hour shifts on a 3-4 rotations **.** Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
**Available Shifts:**
N1: Monday - Wednesday with alternating Thursdays, from 6:00pm - 6:15am
**Position Responsibilities:**
1. Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.
2. Understand and help drive improvement to quality systems and policies (Quality Data System, Safe Quality Food, Good Manufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
1. Learn to safely operate and monitor high-speed production equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Fills basket with parts to be plated or places parts on holding fixture, and transfers materials to plating solutions by operation of the plating line.
- Remove parts as directed when process is completed.
- Adds plating solution or refills tanks, as directed by team to complete plating process.
- Immerse materials in leaching or cleaning solution preparatory to plating.
- Operates and conducts basic maintenance on equipment.
- Trouble shoots problems by using problem solving techniques.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
- Reads blueprint, work instruction or job order to determine measurements, dimensions and specifications.
- Utilize correct fixtures in conjunction with machine settings and materials.
- Verifies conformance to specifications.
- Responsible for quality including first piece and in-process inspections.
